the cheek of them!!!
Isn't it nice how little we are told at the time and then how much we find out when we read our own notes.
I was told I would be having a routine trip to the hospital at 28 weeks for my blood etc. it is there in my notes and I was told to expect a letter giving me the time. I got a letter alright, inviting me to spend my 28 week appointment with some consultant! I called and asked why I was now under consultant care and not midwife care and they could not tell me.
And they could not understand or empathise, on any level, why I may be a little concerned that my care plan has changed and they have moved me into the care of a specialist! Did it not occur to them I may worry, I may fear something is wrong???
Everything is such an inconvenience and a pain for them at my hospital. They practically sigh and roll their eyes when you ask a question- it's my first pregnancy, I am concerned, I worry over everything ok!!!
And the only suggestion they could give me was perhaps it was my BMI - aargh!!! So now I am a FAT INCONVENIENCE! thanks NHS!!
