my appointment with OBGY should be next week, 29 dec... but i have a bleeding again today, and it seems continuosly, even not heavy, but i'm so worried....

so, i went to see the OBGY this afternoon, and did a scan... doc said the baby is fine... nothing to worry about the bleeding, and he gave me a shot on my buttock (so painful) to stop the bleeding and strengthen my uterus... this is my third injection for this pregnancy...

here's my baby pic... i think he/she is sucking his.her thumb.... i feel so happy and relieved when i saw he/she so active.....

scan in my office is suck, so i use my phone camera...

Congrats!.. And I didn't know there was an injection to stop bleeding. I thought there was nothing to do if something went wrong during the 1st trimester.

2 years ago, when I had bleeding at week 7 or 8 (that later ended up in m/c), the doctor just sent me home without medication....

Lovely pic..

Im glad everything is okfor you and baby

:nope: sorry to hear that katherine... when i first bleeding around 5 weeks, i went to normal GP, she said she can't do anything, even there's no medication to stop the bleeding... i was not satisfied, then i went to see this OBGY (specialist), and he did prescribed me with medicine name Duphaston, and 2 injections, in 3 days interval... he said it was oil based medicine (hormone), i guess it must be progesterone....

fyi, when i was pregnant with my daughter last 2 years, i always bleed & spotting too... i went to see other OBGY (other hospital), and he didn't give me any injection, just the same medicine - Duphaston... Duphaston also prescribed after we've done IUI procedure, to make sure our Uterus is strong enough to hold the baby...

can i say, it depends on which doc treat us??? and fyi, it costs a lot... almost USD 100 per visit.... for me it's expensive coz i'm not rich...:nope:

Yes... I never went back to that doctor. He didn't even do a blood test to me, to see if my progesterone or hGC was dropping. He just saw the heartbeat, said that the bleeding was not too bad, and sent me home to rest. But the bleeding got worse, and I finally lost my bean at that time... It was a bad experience, but also learned a lot.

So I just hope this current little bean will have better luck.... He/She is doing well, so far.... I'll have my nutchal scan next week, so hopefully, he or she will still be with us for a long while.
