Are so boring! I miss my poached eggs :(

Can we have scrambled eggs? I thought I had to steer clear but I am going to have to whip some up if we can! I don't know why I didn't think we could have them come to thing of it

I am missing my runny eggs though. BIG TIME!

Yeah scrambled are fine as they are cooked all the way through. I like a nice toasted muffin with a poached egg on for Sunday breakfast so I had scambled instead yesterday and it was boring.

U can definitely eat eggs and are very healthy for ur baby

I miss my raw sushi and rare beef!!

I ate boiled eggs and soldiers (dippy) all the way through with my first son and he was healthy and now loves them :) I didn't know you couldn't eat them when I was pregnant first time... I found out about 3 weeks after he was born! So I'm staying away from them this time just in case x

Mmmm I read on mumsnet I that runny eggs are fine as long as (i) the white is cooked through and (ii) they are Lion stamped. Haven't had one yet due to CONSTANT nausea (groan) but was planning too....

Anyone??

Actually, inconclusive...

https://www.nhs.uk/Planners/pregnancycareplanner/pages/Carewithfood.aspx

appears the risk is salmonella (ie not direct risk to baby) which is obviously generally unpleasant. I have eaten a lot of runny eggs (bizarrely I love eggs with dippy yolk for soldiers or in egg sandwich but cannot stomach scrambled egg unless it is done TO DEATH) and have never had this (touch wood)...

I am sure I will at some point, its not that they are bad for you, more the risk of catching salmonella but like you said as long as you cook them properly and they are in date and lion stamped I am sure they will be fine. I've never got sick from them before now so I'd hate it to be the time I did! that would be typical!

eggs are fine just make sure cooked through out.. i amd craving egg!!! not a goodthing to be eatting at the mow

I'm kinda freaky because I don't like eggs!!!!!

I love eggs so will be eating plenty during the next few months :)

The ones I ate through my first pregnancy were lion stamped and the white was always cooked... even without being pregnant, I hate runny whites! haha! I must have had boiled egg and soldiers or dippy egg butties about 3/4 times a week atleast during my first pregnancy! Hope your nausea gets better :hugs: xx

Thank goodness I love eggs well done all the time, yes I know I'm weird but don't like the runnyness!

I like scrambled eggs with a little salsa =) yummm. Or just some hard boiled eggs!!

But I agree!! I was SO sad when I found out I couldn't have raw sushi anymore =( SOOO sad!!!! I <3 sushi!! That will be the FIRST thing on my menu when I am able LOL

My MW said as long as they have the lion stamp you can soft boil them or have slightly runny yolks  xxx

it's so confusing, I read you can have sushi if it's been flash frozen as it kills all the nasties

I don't like eggs much either apart from in mayo and desserts
