Scrambled eggs...

I'm quite happily eating eggs with the yolks still a bit soft and runny. My MW said that as long as they are lion stamped it's fine. But I have eaten some friend's eggs (she keeps chickens in her back garden) too and been absolutely fine - I mean have you ever had Salmonella from an egg?

I actually have had salmonella but I was backpacking in China at the time! I am pretty sure it was from scrambled eggs I had so I am not sure that cooking it through eliminates it but maybe just reduces the risk? It was not a pleasant experience! I haven't heard of anyone else I know having it though, think it is pretty uncommon.

Poached eggs should be fine, they are just boiled instead of fried. I love them with hollandaise (it is cooked since it is homemade so should be safe as well). That and deviled is about the only way I like eggs normally.

I had my much longed for poached eggs yesterday, my god they were good!! :)

I've had eggs nearly every day so far, I have a major craving for anything associated with them. Scrambled, poached, fried, omelette! Yummmmm!

mmm you're making me want a fried egg now :)

You're not supposed to but I have had a slightly runny fried egg and a couple of slightly runny poached eggs
