If by chance I were to need a second episiotomy, how is it performed? Will it be on the same side as last time? Any info would be great! Xx

I had an episiotomy both times. My first was midline so straight down and my second was done to an angle. I had a very hard time with healing after my second birth. Firstly my stitches slightly opened and then I ended up with granulation tissue and had to have it silver nitrate applied to it!

My first birth recovery was much easier. Good luck x
