Second trimester dragging on and on and on..

Anyone else finding time is dragging on in the second trimester? Feels like I've been here forever even though it's only been 8ish weeks. And I still have what 5 to go before 3rd? 18 in total! May fees so freaking far away.

Probably doesn't help that this tri hasn't been the blissful 2nd tri it's sometimes labelled to be. Body aches, morning sickness still, cant sleep barely eating etc. Oh and did I mention it's like minus 30 here?

Who else is feeling the time move like molasses??

Totally with you. Still waiting for that burst of energy, pregnancy glow, nice hair, and the return of any semblance of a sex drive. Instead got achy hips and someone else's terrible digestion. Please tell me the 3rd trimester isn't worse at least?

i feel the same way about it but everyone else is like 'oh my gosh you're already halfway through your pregnancy?" theres several pregnant women due right around the time i am at work and they swear mine is flying and theirs is slow. nope, i feel mine is going slow too.

lately ive just been suffering from achey muscles and extreme hunger. i only get nauseous when i take my prenatals because of the iron in them.

Haha yup! And third tri is only 3 weeks away! What's worse is that I only just realized thus week that they trick you. 9 months my ass. If I'm 6 months right now, and have till the end of April to go, that's 10...jerks. I think that made it worse for me lol.

Oh I know! Why on earth are we 4 weeks pregnant from the moment we find out? I have such a hard time explaining it to my mom. I'm 5 months pregnant mom, how can that be May is 5 months away you're 4 months. Face palm. I'm so sick of being pregnant. I LOVE being pregnant but this time is the worst. If it wasn't my last before it is now!!

Lol gotta love mothers. Sorry this pregnancy sucks so bad for you. I'm still sick too but nearly as bad as I was at 6-17 weeks. What's worse is that I've already forgotten how bad my ms was and we've already decided to try for one more after this...and my ms was BAD! Lol. Oh goodness. Why do our bodies play tricks on us like that? Grrr

On the one hand, I'm roughly halfway through. Woo! On the other hand, the second tri is taking FOREVER. Luckily, although I am still dead tired and irritable as crap, I did get the sex drive boost, too bad I'm too tired to do it....so I just end up frustrated! LOL

Oh yes, at 17 weeks I find myself calculating when I will be in the third trimester and trying to assure myself I just need to get through Feb, which is not that long a month... Except it is still the beginning of January. I dread the dragging of the third trimester, which will feel 10x worse than this.

I'm glad I'm not the only one really. If the second trimester is going to go on this long how long is the third going to take?? Ugh. At least there's a small amount of hope that the third trimester could end sooner then expected.

I'm hoping with my work hours doubling next week until I'm 34 weeks, I'm hoping time will pass much faster!

Yup! Definitely dragging on! A couple more weeks and finally in the 3rd trimester, however I feel like I am already in it with all my aches and insomnia.

Girl, I'm right there with you. I'm just ready to pop this kid out and be done with the whole thing! I'm determined to find something to occupy my time (beyond the regular mommy and household stuff) so I don't feel like I'm just sitting around twiddling my thumbs waiting for time to pass.

I'm the opposite and am not looking forward for 2nd Tri to end so soon... 2nd Tri to me means baby is not as active or big as 3rd tri. Once I hit 3rd tri, my belly will be much bigger, heavier, more potty breaks, trouble sleeping and more aches and pains will start meaning 3rd tri will take forever. I have many projects not started and feel that this pregnancy is going by quite fast...

I know exactly how you feel!! Just over three weeks till I hit 3rd trimester but I feel like I've already been in 2nd forever! I deffinately don't feel like first lasted this long but that may have something to do with the fact that when you find out you're already done with four weeks! (Plus I was traveling then) I am finally starting to get some energy but right after I get it it seems like it's gone....

Ugh my energy hasn't come back yet either! Sex drive has, but dh has been sick for almost 3 weeks now and its frustrating! Lol. I could still sleep till noon everyday and take a nap at 2 if I could. Damn job making me get out of bed.

I'm here at the crossover, and the second trimester was so slow. The last part of it was the worst (always uncomfortable, can't sleep, indigestion every day). I'm not looking forward to the third trimester given how I already feel now.

The last month of 3rd trimester is worse as it feels like your going through the whole 9 months again lol x
