Self cleaned oven and didn’t know!!

I did not know that the self cleaning option on the oven was toxic. I put it on last night and it took 3 hours. I though the smell was just the stuff burning off. Now today I read how toxic it is cause the Teflon burns off gases at those temps (PTFE ) .. when it gets so hot on the self clean.

I am panicking now. I am ten weeks and nervous I did harm.

I don't know about those ovens but imagine if they gave off toxic chemicals they wouldn't be approved for sale or would at least come with a major warning so I wouldn't worry too much about it. Lots of chemicals class as toxic, car fumes for example, but the small amounts we actually inhale on a day to day basis are not of a dangerous level. I imagine this is the same as the fumes from the oven xx
