My sister had her baby by C-section on Wednesday as he was feet down and couldn't be turned- when he was delivered they discovered his umbilical cord was wrapped around his body. He was 8lb 2oz and she called him Ellis.

F&C, Riley is exactly the same...when I am not around he is happy to play and be with others. As soon as I am back he only wants me. My poor husband really has to try to get Rileys attention. x

I am a bit preoccupied at the moment over my wedding photos. My sisters friend did our wedding photography and said she didn't want any money as it would give her more wedding experience. Well, we paid her anyway! So, 2 days ago we get our wedding pics and she has edited 100 of the 800 she took which are really lovely. We only have 100 photos. But, Mark and I want the originals so that we can chose our wedding photos for ourselves and Mark is a keen photographer and does photo editing himself which he was looking forward to doing. I have emailed her and sent a FB message 2 days ago asking for the originals and obviously saying that we loved the ones she had done with no reply. I hate waiting. What do I do? I am so upset as I know there were pics taken that are not in the ones she gave us. xx

Right, had better go and do something. I have already done about 3 loads of washing this morning, but how to get it all dry? It's horrible outside!! Lots still to do!

In terms of words Amelia doesn't say much other than ohh and minna dadda , Layla says book , cat , teddy

They have a big picture book and can point to lots of the things when asked!

Thanks TW and congrats to you and your sister!! Could the cord around his body have caused a problem?

JC nope it's her 3rd! The middle one was a relatively easy labour so this took her by surprise a bit.

Teeny - Personally I cant see it being a problem especially if shes setting up her business and using your pics for promotional activity. I'm sure shes just been busy this past two days. We got married two years in September and I still havent confirmed back what pics I want in our album. Ive nearly completed it just have three more pages :blush:

Had a great day out today at a really small wildlife Park Teeny strongly recommend it for you and the boys as its a small park so easy to get around but you are able to see all the animals up close, its in Wingham just past Canterbury. JJ managed to focus on alot of what was happening today. We saw the ottors and penguins being fed :cloud9: and saw a raccoon for the first time they are so cute. What was great is they had peacocks and chickens walking around freely. We also walked through a goat and wallaby enclosure where they found JJs pram very interesting . We both said we will definietly take JJ back there again. I am starting to lose my voice again though with all this cold weather today.

Going to see my dad tomorrow with JJ first time in 2 months since hes been ill then off to our local park to see the BIL and SIL with their three kids to feed the ducks not as good as seeing the penguins today but JJ seems to like the duckeys
 
Emzy - forgot to say I'm sure everythings fine, it's so difficult to get measurements accurately at this early stage so the two girls might actually be further along. Also I didn't think a heartbeat is found until 6+ weeks. If they were concerned they would of said. :hugs: try not to worry
 
Yep we're well into the packing now as dh is away the week before so wants most of it done by Sunday. Only 2 weeks on Monday! Whoo hoo! X
 
I am going back to my own house tonight/tomorrow morning so will be able to get on here easier as have to nick my little brothers computer!!!

I had bad nightmares last night, resulting in me waking up, sobbing and shaking when both of my girls slept through the night!!! Always the way!!!! :shrug:

Midwife weighed Pippa and she has only lost 4oz since birth which is great as we was expecting a lot more due to her feeding problems!!! She is now latching on better except she keeps falling asleep on my boob!!

Will read and catch up when I get home as bro wants his comp back!!!

Awww :cloud9: both of mine fed for about 2 mins then fell asleep then woke up and had more :lol: sounds like they and you are doing amazing :wohoo:

I have not been able to catch up on missed posts but wanted to say thank you for all the birthday wishes. Paiges party went well, but even mums house was not big enough. I have a house full of toys and Paige didnt sleep all day and was still playing at 8.30pm...I went way over budget but its all worth it.. but its MCdonalds every year now..lol

We went to a Indian wedding reception last night OMG !!!! its got to be the best wedding reception i have ever been too !!! 300 people and a sit down meal, the music was great and everyone was on the dance floor, free bar and i was hanging by the end but Its the first time in 2 years we have been out without kids and i was able to be Kara again.. I now want to go to more indian weddings, i want it to be my new hobby..:happydance:

lady k glad paige had a fab birthday! yay the wedding sounds so cool i want to go :)

We went into town today the girls had a elc voucher left from their birthday we got a pink fairy castle and carriage we are going to wrap it up for them to open at xmas.

Was thinking if we are doing secret santa this year can we do the draw soon ? i like to start spreading the cost:) im happy to do the draw if Emzy or anyone else doesnt mind ?

Been quiet on here this weekend. Sorry I've not been around much, had a busy weekend and also feeling crappy with a sore throat and am exhausted. Went to my friends LOs first Birthday party yesterday and my friends LOs christening today. I'm shattered and feel like crap, so off to bed for me in a mo!
 
Very quiet on here at the moment!!

Lilia is now taking the odd step here and there but not walking yet, she gives up very easily and knows she's faster when crawling! We took her for a walk yesterday on her reins, although at times it was kore like a drag! She walked pretty well with them as she felt quite supported so that was good, must go now though we have jamboree at the gym on camp!

Oh and I believe today is Benjamin (jen's son) birthday and that's all the stars one now!!
