September Stars

Today is Thanksgiving in Canada, so it's a long weekend focused around a turkey feast.
We did ours yesterday, so that's where I've been. I tend to avoid the kitchen, but I bang out a seriously nice turkey. It takes ages, though. I'm always glad when it's over.

Tobe officially converted to bipedalism yesterday.
He's been staggering around for the past month, but defaulting to crawling. Yesterday, he walked everywhere. And climbed on top of things to stand upright on them, grinning triumphantly. Daredevil baby!
I think (?) he is saying mama and dada now. He turns to look at us when we say "where's mama?", "where's dada?", etc. And he says "mamamamammumumumum" when he comes over to me. But sometimes he just mumbles that to himself as he is going about his baby business, so not sure if I can officially claim language yet....

Yikes! He just toddled into the kitchen - must run!

Yes! We did have pumpkin pie.
I did not make it myself this year, but we got a nice one from a bakery.

So so tired. I have that I might be getting sick feeling - you know when your sinuses and the back of your throat start to feel all tight and tired?
Nooooo!
Going to bed very early to ward off any colds.
Way too much to do and no time to get sick!

Lady k- I am trying to watch all our things on the planner before we have virgin coming out on Wednesday I have a lot to watch though and dont think I am going to do it.
GG- Hope Laylas jabs go okay.
Asher- Get well soon.

Morning girls

Happy thanks giving Sarah!

Blob that's so cute Tabba! Awww :cloud9: Holly keeps saying random things but then not saying them again. She's like a little parrot! The other day I said "Holly, go choose a book" and she said something that sounded remarkably like "choose a book!" lol She also said "buzz buzz buzz" when The Hive came on on the Disney Channel lol

GG Hope the jabs go ok x

Louise which reins did you get? I've been thinking of getting some for Holly too.

Asher get well soon, I've got a cold at the mo too, horrible things!! Can't take anything for it while pregnant either!

Holly has a massive bump on her head after she fell over a toy and smacked her head on the wall, poor baby!

I looked after my friends 1 year old yesterday and oh my god she is sooo clingy! She wouldn't let me put her down and she cried the WHOLE time. For 4 hours. If I put her on the floor, which I obviously had to do sometimes as I was looking after Holly too, she would SCREAM! I am having her all day Wednesday and I am dreading it! I didn't tell her Mum the full extent of it, but I did say that she had cried a lot. She's such a clingy baby though, cries if her Mum walks out of the room and her Mum and Dad pick her up all the time. Any tips for tomorrow?! I have no idea how I am going to manage if Holly needs anything! I was lucky yesterday as Holly just amused herself the whole time.

I've been looking at double prams already! Blob and Genies, am I right in thinking you had iCandy Pears? If so, what did you think of it? Were the seat units particularly small? That's the only concern I have with it really, is that Holly won't be comfy in the seat. I have also been looking at the Baby Jogger City Select which I LOVE as they can face each other and it has so many other combinations BUT if I but either one of those prams new they are so expensive! I might have to try and get a second hand one this time.

Forgot to ask, FB, Teeny and Laura, how are you all feeling? I've not even really been feeling pregnant, but my boobs are starting to hurt a little bit more now. Not much sickness yet, I've been sick one and feel sick some of the time but nothing like last time. Still, there is time I suppose! I hope not though lol

Good Morning All!:happydance:

Been busy with everything as usual, the chickens are just yet more cleaning for me, they always were going to be! Bluebell seems to be my no1 fan atm, I went in the pen yesterday and she sat at my feet to be picked up, great a clingy chicken!! :dohh:

SS yay, up for that put my name in the hat!

Words are not many but Rosie has the hang of the few she does! she says very clearly 'yes' and 'Daddy' other words are mumbled and not as clear, she loves making noises and jumps out from behind things and says 'baa' which is very cute/funny!
She answers most things with 'yes', do you want juice, food, to watch this, to do that, to come with Mummy etc so I still think she feels she says enough! :haha:

Hope morning sickness is not too bad for those preggy again, didn't enjoy that bit one bit!:hugs:

Happy Thanks Giving Sarah, have fun!:hugs:

When i get reins i will get animal ones like i did Sophie, she had pandy and loved wearing him, but wouldn't wear reins, they are more safety than to hold them up where you need a more body harness type rein x

Jelly, I am knackered too atm, Rosie has taken to hourly boob feeds at night again, i think she is revisiting her newborn phase!

Ladyk, love the toys, the girls dolls house i love! At mother and toddler Bill sits playing with the toys! lol xx

Genies, hope the back feels better soon, nothing worse than that sort of pain, worse if you can't rest it:hugs:

Blob, oooh, halloween cakes, there must be loads of ideas for them! Spiders web with spider in the middle! Monsters and ghosts, fab! :hugs:
Made a super lemony lemon cake yesterday, my eldest is away so it has made it to today! :hugs:

Hi Asher, hope your feeling much better soon :hugs::kiss:

Right I think I have caught up, quiet day today, tomorrow its dentist for the children and Ben has his consultant app for his adhd, i am thinking i need to speak to his consultant alone for 5 mins, i dont want to upset him but need to explain to her what he is like, as i tend to say yes he is fine, its all good, but atm i am finding it hard to cope with him, some days worse than others, night times are a total nightmare and so it sets the whole house up for late nights, with Rosie up too I am struggling!

Back soon, nice :coffee: and cake I think! xx:hugs:

Emzy- I am feeling okay at the minute been having sore boobs every now and then and feeling nauseous (sp?) every now and then but finding eating little bits and often is helping that and extremely tired on a afternoon have to nap when Ollie does on a afternoon but nothing to extreme. I had no symptoms with Ollie though so is a different pregnancy altogether than last time so maybe I am having a girl.

I'm doing the same fb, just trying to nap when Holly does in the afternoon before I go to work, otherwise I'm falling asleep mid shift! No can do today though, as I'm working 3-7. At least I'll get to spend the evening with Matt and have a bath and an early night which is rare during the week! Oh and I'm starving all the time as well! This pregnancy feels totally different for me too so far. I keep wondering if I'm having a boy! Have you thought about prams yet? This is the one I've seen, it looks fab:

https://www.twins-store.co.uk/Baby-Jogger-City-Select-Tandem-Buggy-in-stock

https://www.babyjogger.com/city_select_lp.aspx

The first site is for twins but there are 16 different seating combos! I like that you can have a carrycot and a seat and that when you have 2 seats on they can face each other.

Emz yes I had a pear and I loved it ! It was easy to clip the car seats on and off and I could take it everywhere , I got it off eBay abd have recently sold it on eBay , I felt the seats were getting too narrow and i wasn't sure it would do me past 2 years old ! It was a dream to push though and I miss it sometimes !

Funnily enough yesterday I had a little push of a baby jogger , a mum at work has 2 under 2 and I found it easy to move and the seat looked fine, it did seem to stick out further than the I candy but isn't any wider I don't think !

Layla was great having her jabs , she was the star of the waiting room she just walked around handing people books to read to her :)

deep heat freezing spray seems to be helping my back !

Right girls are fed am waiting for them to settle for nap , clean bathroom and lunch fir me back later x

Yes I am always hungry aswell Emzy, I think this is why I am feeling sick its hunger cos when I eat I feel much better. I am very very bloated aswell. I was with my best friend the other day who is 18weeks pregnant and I looked bigger than her. And I havent looked yet but I like the look of that one I like that they can face each other looks great.

Genies, Layla sounds so cute, glad her jabs went well.
Emzy and FB...the only symptoms I have are also the extreme tiredness and nausea. Like you Emzy I am hungry ALL the time, but I try not to give into the temptation of too much food! I do not have the option to nap as I have the school run every afternoon, so I am falling asleep by 9pm every night!
Oh, but I have lost my sex drive and I feel awful for DH. Perhaps I'll try and get in the mood tonight!

How many people have you told? We have told no-one and it's really hard when trying to arrange babysitters for hospital appointments- I have to take Riley tomorrow as I do not have a good excuse! I do not think Chance will be too impressed as he has told me before that "it is great to have Riley as a brother but one brother is definately enough!" lol x Perhaps we will tell next week after our scan (8 1/2 weeks). I just worry so much about miscarriage so have always waited until 12 weeks. xx

I have only told my best friend as she is pregnant and we were going out with them last Saturday and wanted someone to talk to rather that OH if you know what I mean. I wont be telling anyone else until 12 weeks if I can hide it that long (depending on my size lol)

We've told a few people. I've told 2 of my mummy friends that I see all the time, as they knew we were trying (they are trying as well) and we told 2 of our really good friends who are a couple. Oh and my friends OH who didn't give a crap LOL I have also told my Mum, Dad and Sister. And also my boss. We are planning on keeping it a secret until 12 weeks but it's getting hard, so were thinking of spilling after the next scan at 7+6... I'm not sure and want to try to wait til 12 weeks really! Teeny that's part of the reason I told my 2 Mummy friends, as we look after each others kids and they have been having Holly whilst I've been going for my appointments!

Genies that's what I thought about the pear seats, Holly's not exactly small so I think they will be too small for her. It's a shame as I really like the Pear! Were the seats on the jogger much bigger? They look it in the pics.
