First bean- I was up till 3am this morning trying to watch everything because wed is our busy day with tv so need to get up to date... not missing waterloo road for anyone lol... im worried about all the wires which they are going to have to lay.... its going to be a mess behind the tv so we are having to get it all out today and have a clean up...x

BTP- so sorry to hear things are not going well, Jakes been a bit of a nightmare too ... but its starting to settle down, as soon as i think we are getting somewhere he starts again and it just goes round in circles... Hope the consultant can help xx

All you preggers ladies!! It's lovely! I think I am maybe getting slightly less broody than I was, acceptance of maybe it not happening again I think. We'll see.

Hugs Emzy, I remember awful colds and being pregnant and not being able to take anything, it's awful, especially when you've got to work and look after a little one too. Hope you're feeling more like yourself soon. Your friend's little one sounds like hard work!! x

I am truly awful. Still been going into work, hardly felt as though I could take time off so soon after coming back from maternity leave. So I have struggled on! I can't believe how much this has floored me! I am so desperate to feel better, I am taking a right old concoction of drugs! Been sipping on the old Vit C today, got the echinacea in! Am taking more sinus stuff than you can shake a stick at!! And I'm sure I am probably overdosing on paracetamol and ibuprofen!! Ah well, need to get it kicked into touch! It's the taste thing that bothers me most, I just want to enjoy my food again, I love my food and I just can't enjoy it! Not fair!! Anyway, sorry, rant over. It's only a cold after all!! Although I am producing what looks like radioactive waste from my nose, it's so bright in colour (sorry!! tmi!), so I'm not sure if antibiotics might be needed soon enough.

Emzy I had the apple and converted it into a pear...that is FAB!! The apple seats are bigger than the pear so it works for the bigger baby :) Then once the older one no longer needs the pram it will still last long enough for the baby :thumbup: well its still working for me!!

Ooh ok so is that the trick, to buy as an apple then get the converter kit? I might look into that. It'll still have to be second hand I think as they're quite expensive aren't they! Can you get a carrycot as well? X

Asher, I am sure it is rubbish for Ben, but he seems to forget his bad episodes, its really like he is split personality, the lovely Ben is fine, the other one i can't cope with! I thought his Dad had some sort of problem as he had this split personality thing, and that and alcohol destroyed us, now i look back i am 100% sure he is also adhd.
It is the paracetamol products you need to be careful with, thay can make you feel worse than the cold alone! I od'd dh on lemsips once, he said he felt terrible, i thought it was the cold until i added up his lemsips!:dohh:

Have baby glued to me, she did 2 hours last night between being up! :happydance:
I am looking to put her in the girls room soon, to see if her sleep improves knowing i am not on tap!

Genies do you mind me asking how much you sold your pear for on ebay? I've been looking and I can get an apple for around £200 on ebay. Blob, do you know how much the Pip converters are new? I can only find one second hand on ebay, but no more. There is an Apple/Pear on Gumtree for £350, which is about what I wanted to spend, but it's a bit too soon yet! I'd need to sell my Cherry I think although I'll prob only get around £100 for it. Good thing is I already have the maxicosi that we used for Holly, so that would fit on an Apple/Pear too. God, it's a bit early for me to be thinking about prams, but I need to plan these things LOL!

Emzy I got my whole thing from eBay for around £300 :happydance: it was both pear seats a carry cot, two car seat convertors, buggy board, foot muff and more. I would look there and be willing to travel to get it. There was also the apple carrycot on it too.... Most of the stuff was brand new in boxes :shock: what a bargain.

Robins trying to persuade me to sell all the pear bits though :rofl: I keep holding out.

Hope everyone is ok, I feel lousy today, banging headache and generally feel very rough! Wayne went to work a bit late so got up with lilia and got her all sorted which was nice though.

I had a bit of brown blood when I wiped this morning.... freaked me out so I rang epu who said not to worry as there wasn't much and it was brown, to just wait for my scan next week. They said it was probably implantation bleeding... I shouldn't be worried should I? It was literally only when I wiped, wasn't even any in my knickers and now it's gone and just got a yellowy discharge again.

Try not to worry Emzy- easier said than done! They say that between 6-8 weeks you can experience some spotting and its really normal. x :hugs:
I am worrying today- I took another HPT to fuel my addiction and the line was fainter than before. :cry: To top it off, I have a dull ache in my lower belly for 2 days and I am very stressed about it. I do not want to worry DH so I won't say anything. I hope everything is okay.
 
Emzy I love my Apple pear. I use the pear seat and my maxim cosi car seat at the minute but when tyler gets bigger ill use the apple seat. When tarron is with me I take my graco stroller and use the Apple carrycot for alyssa I love that I can change it round for different scenarios. I actually got told today its the funkiest double pushchair she's ever seen lol! They are definitely worth tje money. I got my apple from ebay I have the special edition in black magic! I'll probably cry.when I have to sell it lol.

Thanks Teeny. I've had no more since then, so I guess it was nothing? Soo hard not to worry though. I've had the dull ache at the bottom of my belly, above my pubic bone, since I got my BFP! With regards to the tests, I've read that after 6 weeks, hormones get too concentrated for HPTs to pick up, so the lines get lighter. That's why women who don't know they they're pregnant at first often get negative HPTs as they don't test til the HCG is too concentrated. I read to dilute your pee with some water then you will get a strong line again! Don't know if it works, but someone on June bugs did it and it worked lol God I hate first tri, sooo worrying!!

I agree stop testing as you do end up worrying over nothing.
Emzy I had that brown blood just when I wiped when I had Ollie and it was impaltation and I nkow my friend who is 18weeks had it at about 7weeks cos she rang me worried and all was fine.
 
Emzy try not to worry, I had a little bleed when I was about 6 ish weeks with Lilia, went to epu and everything was fine, they say it's very common.

Teeny, bless you, I know how tempting it is to keep testing but if what emzy says is right then it would make sense. I think you should mention your worried to your dh, don't have the stress alone, he would hate to think of you feeling that way with him oblivious to it I reckon. I'm sure everything is fine. Xxx
