Emzy I didn't find it too heavy the large back wheels had good suspension , I could push it with one hand ! I don't drive either I walked miles with it but never went on a bus with it? It would take too long to put the whole lot down.

We went to toddler group thus morning , I started chatting to people about the local nurseries I really need to look at them for when they 2-3

Emzy I agree with you about the phil and teds I can't stand the baby in the bag at the bottom ! They are so Surrey ! Everyone has one round here I'm loving walk g past them all with my spotty kiddicare buggy that no one else has

Kara I like that too but read a few reviews that say its quite bulky... want to go in a shop and have a go with one!

Genies I meant getting on a bus with it up. Most of the busses here are easy access busses and I'm always on one with the cherry no problem. But would never get on with a side by side!

I don't think me Pear is heavy. I use it everyday for the nursery run and don't have any problems getting it up and down curbs (even the bigger ones) and thats with the car seat on which makes it heavier. I can lift it in and out of the boot perfectly fine as well (the size of it makes it awkward but not the weight!). I've never taken it on a bus either but thats only because i always have the car available.
I don't like the phil and teds either and to be honest i don't see many of them about round here. Its all quinnys and oysters round here.
I think the best thing for you to of would be to find a candy stockist near you and go and have a look and a push and see what you think about the weight. I guess it depends on the weight of the kids i doubt i could push it with Jayden and Tyler in it!

Sorry for being a rubbish thread mate recently, Alyssa seems to be constantly attached to my boob and when she's not i'm either doing housework, the school run or sleeping.

Tyler is meant to be having his jabs but the clinic keep cancelling on me. He was meant to have them on tuesday and they cancelled then he was meant to have them tomorrow and they've cancelled again so now its tuesday again. Lets just hope they don't cancel again!

I've had some good news today. About 4 years ago my sisters then partner was arrested. He was set up for something he knew nothing about until it was too late and he got sentenced to 11 years. Then he got time taken off for time he'd spent on remand and then with good behaviour he should be out oct 4th 2012. Well i found out today he's been moved to a open prison and hopefully we should be meeting up the first week of november. He's never even seen Tyler or Alyssa!

I think Jayden is poorly. He came home from nursery today really tired so i put him to bed for a nap. He's woken up all sweaty complaining of headache and he has diarrhoea. There was a sign up saying they'd had a outbreak of hand foot and mouth but i don't know the symptoms of that so i'm going to google it.

I love the Phil and Teds and *think* it is what we will be getting. My best friend has one and it is so lovely to push one handed and get about with especially with a dog as I do alot of rough terrain walking (I'm also a non driver Emzy !!) but if I could afford to buy a brand new one I would get the one Kara pointed out the Britax B Dual as I love that !!! TBH though I haven't even looked at what is out there yet....

Aw LBB hope James is okay.
It is very quiet in here today.
I have had a shopping spree and got Ollie lots of new outfits from next I got a nice cheque from the tax man have never had a rebate before so thought I would treat my lil man and then treat myself next week.
I am feeling very very tired am needing and a nap in the afternoons and getting waves of nausea which I never had with Ollie so its a very different pregnancy.

Aww poor James, It is so horrible when they are over clingy

Rosie has problems keeping food down, and i have had to start a food diary so if i can't stop it i can take the food diary to the doctor.
I think I am over feeding at tea time, she just nibbles all day and still takes loads of boob feeds, so evenings she sits up with us and I give her what we have and what she has and within a few mins she sicks it all up, then i think she is hungry at night so up every few hours...SO I have gone back to baby texture food, she had half a jar of 7months+ tonight and 1 frube and has kept it down no worries, so tomorrow i am giving her gradual food during the day rather than lots at once, will see if i can get her better with food and sleep!

My friend had his memorial service today, the family wanted no friends flowers, and the cremation was private which all suggested to me they wanted friends to keep away I have placed flowers at the roadside, but my son had said the day b4 there had been hundreds of flowers there but when i placed mine it was just family ones, suggested they had been cleared. Perhaps me just being over sensitive!

Right got a screaming baby at my feel wanting MUMMY NOW! (crisis averted she is on boob!)
Has been quiet, I have been busy bee.

I've not been around because I've just been so poorly!! I managed to drag myself into work, but then went to the docs yesterday to get checked out, and yes, I've got a sinus and chest infection, not just a bad cold as I thought!!! So I'm on the amoxycillin, nice strong dose, and I hope it's going to be business as usual very soon. I haven't been able to taste or smell anything since last Friday!! And poor Sam was poorly in the night on Tuesday. He was sick, then his temp shot up to 39.4, and he was breathing very shallow. I was panicking, as you can imagine, but the calpol and ibuprofen helped, and he soon settled. It was just a very hard going to work Weds after 4 hours sleep and with a raging cold!!!

So, am off to bed very soon, love to all.xxx

BTP - that's a good idea about the diary. Weird question dies she eat quickly? I'm convinced James being sick last week was where he ate too quick shovelling it in his mouth. Dairy is a good thing to eliminate first with sick.

JJ had his injections this morning and coped really well but has been winey rest if the day. Think it's his teeth as he keeps waking screaming. Last night had to call dh back from poker as I couldn't hold him and give calpol

Dh is out having curry so I've baked a chocolate and marshmallow cake whoops diet not going very well I'm annoyed at one of jjs nurserys yesterday. I'd written in his contact book saying I wanted him to have cow milk in cereal but formula for his morning bottle. The staff member said they haven't been giving him his bottle as his key worker said he doesn't have it any more . This girl us meant to know everything about him and his routine. I filled in forms before he started about sleep and feeding etc and I pack a bottle in his bag everyday. They even asked about his bottle a few weeks back. How many times do I have to tell them?

Really hoping for a lay in tomorrow this 5.30 morning starts is killing me. Oh got jjs Halloween outfit today it's a pumpkin suit nit sure when he will wear it but thought he would look really cute

Asher - get better soon, you poor sick thing!
I've got a mild but annoying case of tonsilitis. I hate that horrible thick feeling in your throat and it hurts so much to swallow. I'm just drowning it in hot herbal tea and trying to get lots of sleep. Of course, both children are working hard to make sure the sleep doesn't happen.
Not much going on here. Cleaning up a bit as I'm expecting my brother and his family up from BC.
