September Stars

Sorry not been on in ages but had a really shit couple of weeks as had problems with childminder as she was seriously pissing me off with the way she was looking after kids. anyhow ended up having a row with her today after deciding to have it out. In that discussion i decided that shes nuts!!!! Anyhow kids arent going tomorrow.bit.of a pain but we'll manage the only bummer is that we have to pay for 4 weeks notice. Met with another childminder and she is lovely not robotic in her manner and seema to genuinely care. xxx

Blondie :hugs: glad you've managed to find someone new so quickly. How are you finding being back at work?

Asher - hope you feel better soon feels like you've been ill for ages

I'll try and catch up properly tomorrow as once again I'm shattered after only finishing working ..... Blurggghhhhh

How many stars are walking now?

Hi lovelies!
Had a really great weekend visiting with my brother, SIL, and gorgeous little nephew. I could eat him in a pie, he is so sweet!
Now I'm facing an absolutely impossible writing and work schedule. I was supposed to sit down and crank out a script tonight, but I am hoping I get maybe part of an outline done. My brain is fried!

Sarahkka glad you had a good time with your family. How olds your nephew was he able to play with your boys?

BTP - is Rosie sick after every meal? Reason I ask is JJ bought up all his lunch yesterday at nursery and the same happened last Tuesday. Now I dint know whether he scoffed his food again, has a bug (but is happy rest of time), cows milk in cereal not agreeing with him, or has an intolerance to some food as both times was pork or ham. How has she been past couple of days with restricted food?

Morning girlies, get me coming on before work!!

Blondie, your childminder issue sounds awful! Thank goodness you managed to sort someone else out. It sucks having to pay your 4 weeks notice though. Hope being back at work's going okay for you. x

Thanks Jelly, I feel like I've been ill forever now too!! I do actually feel a tiny bit better this morning. Am going to go for my swim tonight after work as I think it might help get things moving a bit!! Poor JJ, hope it's not a tummy bug. x

Hope you managed to get somewhere with the script Sarah!!

Right, off to get the troops all dropped off before I head in to work! Catch you all later. x

She was being sick after every main meal, i think a combination of too much all at once and too many different things.
She is happy otherwise and atm she is keeping small meals down, but as soon as she looks like she has had enough i stop!
I have a weak stomach valve and was told little but often so i am following that rule, if she has a reflux issue then i don't want her prodded about to find it unless we cant cope ourselves, so i am finding her limitations so we can manage it.
This will be day 4 of no sick:thumbup:
:hugs:

How many stars are walking now?
Rosie walks well, she was an early starter at 11 months and so is truly pro now! I am looking for welly boots in her size, a 3 should do so looking about! , she was a 2.5 last time she was measured!:haha:

Found a spongy lump on Rosies gum last night, its at the side and i thought it was a big tooth but it was squishy, looked again today and its smaller, and doesnt look like white tooth now, keeping an eye on it, she wont let me near to have a decent look, little madam!:haha:

Went out on school run and got totally soaked! so just drying out with my reheated cup of coffee! I was going to go out today but I really can't be bothered to, i want to go back to bed, and if Rosie has a nap today I will!

Sorry not to catch up better,

Hello Blondie, lovely to 'see' you! Hope the new child minder is nice, its awful to think the other one was not up to scratch, good on you having it out with her.
My friend had a weird childminder for her kids, found out she was getting the children to just sit and not do anything, and not let them get up to go to the toilet, luckily the children were older and said straight away, but worrying! :hugs:

Asher, feel better soon hun, this really has dragged out for you hasn't it, more drugs needed perhaps! xx:hugs:

Back later, best drink my coffee while it is still hot the second time! :hugs:

Oh and had an egg yesterday, the hens were not laying, been told they would start up when they settled and Biscuit laid an egg yesterday, its bigger than the others lay, I was so pleased, and I think this one will be mine as I havent eaten one yet! :happydance:

Bye for now xx:hugs::kiss:

Oh and Jelly, I would say don't give him what he has been sick on, see if he stops being sick, if so you have found the cause, otherwise just keep a note of what makes him sick and remove it from the diet until he is not sick.
If its a bug i would think he would consistently being sick, but sounds like its just some meals?
You can re introduce foods later, (months later rather than days) I can just about eat anything these days! :hugs:

Add me to SS please !!! woooohoooooooooooo !!!

Paige took her first "step" on her birthday,My sister was taking a photo of her at the time, and since then she has been taking the odd step here and there and yesterday she took 4 !! but she still is not bothered, she is such a lazy bum !!

Love and hugs to you all xx

Lilia has taken 9 steps at the most and is pretty steady on her feet but would just rather crawl!! She'll only walk if we stand her up facing someone, hasn't just done it by herself really yet but walks loads holding hands or on her reins! She's a proper lazy bum as she's one of the oldest stars at 13 1/2 months!!

Tyler took his first steps at just over 10 months 2 weeks later was walking properly and now he walks everywhere. He's starting to run now swell but he normally trips.

Holly walks everywhere now and has just started running too! She caught onto it pretty quick, she didn't take her first steps til 12.5 months and was walking well by 13 months. Now she walks everywhere, hardly see her crawl anymore. She can get up easily on her own now as well and has started running around! She likes walking outside so I try and give her the chance to get out the Pram and have a walk around as often as I can!

Well Ollie is nearly 14month and still not walking not taken a step or anything so think I may have one of the laziest stars he can stand unaided and is very steady but will just not walk. I am not worried I know he has always been lazy he was a late crawler too.

My mum got the girls some cute slippers today and they will not keep them on !!

Layla is busy bringing me every toy and piling it on me , Amelia is taking them all off :)

Riley can walk and is walking lots more now. However, if he falls over he just crawls the rest of the way the lazy bum! If he is showing off he stands back up but he gets everywhere quicker by crawling! x

Well, not a lick done on the script last night.
Tobe pooped on the floor in the 30 seconds it took me to get him out of the bath and go grab his pajamas and diaper. He pooped on the floor, stepped in it with both feet, tracked it all over bathroom, hallway, living room, dining room and kitchen (we live in a small house, but that should answer the question about walking - he's pretty zippy on two feet now).
Got that cleaned up and neither boy was very interested in bedtime, so that was an epic struggle.
then Simon accidentally sent a glass flying off the table and I managed to slice my finger open while cleaning all that up.
Oy. :dohh:

One of those evenings. I just gave up.
But I had a pretty good sleep and am keen to try again tonight! :)

Jelly - my nephew is just 4 months, but we're all predicting that the boys will be a jolly little gang of troublemakers very very soon! :)

blondie i would refuse to pay the notice if she isnt providing good enough care, she technically has broken the contract anyway. Just tell her you will be contacting ofsted regarding the care the children received and she will soon back down x

James isnt walking yet dont think he has the energy to. He prefers to sit and play. X

Rosalie runs everywhere, the funniest is taking things that belong to Tabs and she runs as fast as she can away

Emzy luv would you like the converter bit for the apple? I'm going to sell it... I have LOADS for it will dig it all out. It includes an almost new apple carrycot, pear carrycot, 2 car seat adaptors I also have a blue and a pink foot muff ha ha if you want either.... let me know  no point in keeping it  Just kidding myself just now really.

Also I may be able to fit it in the car if i'm going south for christmas or my dad lives in nottingham if I can't fit it all in the car ha ha

FB / lbb - think we will have to see which stays non walking for the longest. JJ has absolutely no interest at all, lazy bum gets it from his dad :-)

Sarahkka - omg  I don't know where I'd begin cleaning that up quite glad jjs not walking ! Sounds like a tough night :-(

Blob - that is so cute, I bet tabs gets annoyed!

GG - JJ does something similar with me I take out the toys and he puts them back in the box . I think it's because I was trying to teach him to tidy his toys away before bed.

Got call from nursery today to pick up JJ thought it was going to be because he'd been sick but it was his eyes had become weepy. Took him to the docs tonight and he has conjunctivitis so working at home tomorrow. Problem is have big conference call with France at 9, so my friend is coming round to quietly entertain him . Have to say getting eye drops in his eyes four times a day will definitely be a test of patience!
