I've not read back, but Louise did I read earlier that Lilia has mouth ulcers? Holly has had a sore throat for about 4 days. Before this she had a temp for a couple of days and we kept giving calpol. We all had colds then Holly seemed to get better, then got the sore throat thing after. She lost her voice a couple of days ago and I have noticed a couple of ulcers in her mouth. Strangely, Matt and I also have mouth ulcers at the moment, I have then all up the side of my tongue and presumed it was because I was run down from the sickness, but it's weird that we all had it. I've just looked up that hand, foot and mouth disease, could it be that? She doesn't have a rash anywhere else other than a nappy rash (Again) which looks different to the one she had recently as it's just a few big red spots- could this be related?

Emzy I looked up symptoms of hand foot and mouth and lilia has this one ulcer type sore on the middle of her tongue, it's big, can't see any more though and none on hands or feet and no nappy rash,. She did have nappy rash a few days ago. She's very hoarse sounding some days and has a rattly chesty cough, streaming nose etc but tbh most of those things could be cold/viral infection. My main concern is her not eating but if her Tongue is sore that'll be why!! Thing is she'll eat breakfast.. And she managed a shortbread biscuit yesterday! They don't treat it with anything anyway so it'll clear up whatever it is on it's own!! You need to be careful though if you have it if you're pregnant, I don't know if they say anything about it?

Paige is still not walking ! I have all these shoes but she will never wear now... Her bedroom is almost finished, she has started waking at 3/4am, anyone else got LO who are still waking in the night ?

YM, don't blame yourself hon, and don't worry what people think... It can happen to any baby it's very common Xx

Btp- that episode when they are in the pub was filmed up the road from my base, we were in the marked car in the car park watching it being filmed. Love that programme x

Kara im waiting at the doctors now with lilia but we're seeing the dreaded dr Johnson that jelly said is rubbish!! I'm not sure what time James has his op, I'm going to keep looking in for updates. Oh and don't worry, lilia CAN walk but doesn't!!! Only if you tell her to go to something/someone, she can walk confidently up to 9/10steps but just never does of her own accord apart from between pieces of furniture!

Just got a call from Kent police asking if everything was ok as there had been a 999 call from our number, sounding like a very small child.... Oh my god how embarrassing! Need to find a new higher place for the phone to live!!

had to laugh, Rosie did this a few months back, on my mobile, how she managed to get round the phone lock i dont know!

Sorry for being selfish with my posts today but I'm getting a bit worried and need advice, lilia is still refusing meals apart from her breakfast? She had a weetabix this morning and I tried a muffin, apple and grapes for her lunch which she wouldn't eat although she had a yoghurt, and tried jacket potato for tea with quiche and sweetcorb (strange I know bit she loves all those things!) and she literally wouldn't have one mouthful of it just spits it out, tries another weetabix afterwards and she refused that! She's also refusing her bedtime bottle, at what point do I worry? Cause I already am! Think I'll tKe her to re doctor tomorrow but think he'll just say it's because of this viral infection but I think it could be something else, she has a big ulcer like thing in the middle of her Tongue, almost looks like a burn?

Docs to get it checked, would say its the ulcer putting her off everything, perhaps the teat touches on it, try a straw or direct from you holding a cup, frubes or ice poles may soothe and cool, perhaps its just what is on offer hurts atm?
As for her not eating as long as she has fluids going in she can go for sometime without it being a worry, she is not loosing fluids rapidly any other way so it may just take patience waiting for her mouth to heal, try calpol and bonjella also?
Hope she feels better soon

well James has his operation for his peg tomorrow and im so anxious about it, i feel like my head is about to go boom! :'( so next time i speak to you all he will hopefully have had it done and be absolutely fine x x x x

Argh that has to be the worst doctor in the world!!! Completely disinterested, listened to her chest and she got really upset which isn't like her, I think she thought it was more jabs!! He said well I can't really hear her chest properly if shes going to cry like that, looked at her Tongue, then sat down and said I agree it is probably a viral infection of some sort, and you're right she does have a big ulcer on her Tongue. And that was it! I asked should I give her anything? He said well like what?? He couldn't be bothered, such an awful doctor! He said the cough is probably because she has a runny nose.. She sounds hacking and I can feel her chest rattle when she breathed, he's just crap!!!

18 weeks tomorrow !!! Scan in 20 days !!! I can't wait to find out what were having (Just hope baby co-operates as was so awkward at the last scan ) TBH now the sickness has eased I am feeling good. I still have no bummp at all but didnt get one with Olivia. I *think* I have decided to have an elective csec and have our girls name picked and ready. I'm going to be gob smacked if it's a boy!! I just feel like it's a girl again. I hope your feeling more normal again soon Emzy. I found managing Olivia and being ill horrific. xxx

Louise - That is rubbish about the doctor. In fact I would be likely to complain and ask to see another doctor within the practice. My niece has very similar symptoms to what you have described and she has a chest infection and antibiotics. xxx

BTP - I feel kind of envious of you saying Rosie is nowhere near weaning the boob. I think me and Olivia are at the end - Shes 50/50 with the feeding now and my milk has definately changed. I am feeling very guilty about it xxx

Kara - we want pics of Paiges room when its done !! xxx

I was thinking about Becs lately too Laura...hope she is okay!
I think I am having another boy, I feel rather okay now and it is very similar to my last 2 pregnancies. We are stumped for a name though....Riley wasn't named for 2 weeks (and we knew at 16 weeks he was a boy! lol) so this time round it is even harder.
My scan is in 15 days...I cannot wait, although I am a little nervous.
Louise, as Laura said, I would request a 2nd opinion from a different doctor just to be sure.
I hope LBB is okay and that James operation went smoothly.
YM, it is NOT your fault about Pippa and do not beat yourself up about BF. You sound like a wonderful mother and you should be proud of your hard work. xx

Riley now only has a 5 min breast feed every morning, which is okay with me. It is a little sad but I was ready to wean. I do not think Riley is totally okay with it, but I have really little milk and so I really did not have a choice. He is 14 months and I think we have had a really good run with it.

I am just in the process of cooking my parents dinner, only shephards pie but with a very clingy toddler and a whole bag of potatoes to peel it is rather difficult. My DS1 however, has set up my very own 2 man steel band and so at the moment they are quite happily bashing away on saucepans...giving me a headache mind! lol

Louise we were meant to be on holiday but the little boy we were with was quite ill he had a blister on his mouth, rash on his leg (though it could have been from the temp) and an awful cough and snotty. We were wondering if he had hand foot and mouth it's hard though doctors can't really give you an answer cos they can't tell for definite? All they can say is that is probably that only thing they can have is calpol and ibuprofen too Rosalie and tabs are looking awful but no blisters as of yet. Hope she's better soon

YM that's a man thing robin doesn't get my panic either

I saw another SS is pregnant too... So jealous !! We were thinking jan but we have the Olympics coming up and it's a chance of a lifetime not only to be part of it ( even if I'm stuck doing traffic) but also the money I'll earn.. I don't really want a bigger age gap, I'm so confused about what to do and with Paige still waking in the middle of the night I'm worried I will not cope with another, also lack of bedrooms but I want another one sooooo badly !!! So or now I'll just get broody listening to u guys lol x

Don't think so, I was checking in for news too.

My boss rang me today and said to ask my doctor if there are any adjustments they could make so o can come back next week, but I really don't know what?? The meds either don't work or make me sooo drowsy and I'm being sick all the time and am exhausted. I really don't know what adjustments would help and I feel kind of pressured to go back before I am ready. If I felt well enough, I'd be there with bells on! any suggrstions? She said shorter hours would be the sort of thing but I can't see how that woyld help tbh...

Well hello from me!!!!!

I have been so busy with stuff and I don't know where the time has gone!!!!

Congratulations on all the pregnant ladies!!!! Have to say I am pretty sure that I won't have anymore!!!!

Well we move in about 3 weeks so its all go, Ian is super busy at work as he goes to Afghan in February so its quite hectic!!!
Hope is walking everywhere so she keeps me on my toes, I hardly use my laptop and catch up on fb on my phone or the ipad!!

I am still here and feeling normal after my counselling, very good!!!!! I am so glad I went, I am still on my medication but desperate to come off them as I feel so numb on them!!!

I have missed you all so much!!!!! I promise to be more regular again!!!
