With my 1st I was lucky enough to have a lovely natural hospital birth. I had a pool in my room, but I hated it. I think I went in there for 5 minutes maximum.

This time I am keen to have a homebirth. But don't know whether I should get a birthing pool?

I know every labour is different. But will it be likely that I wont like it again?? I don't have a lot of room for a pool.

But I also don't want to regret not getting one, when I am actually in labour!

Hmmm what to do??? Any suggestions or experience?

Thanks ladies

If you didn't like it then maybe it's just not for you. I loved mine and was gutted I had to get out. But then I love water and I find it a huge help with relieving pain.
Maybe you Could look into tens machine or hypno birthing, yoga techniques. .. xx

What did you hate about it? The water? The actual tub? If it was the water then don't do it. If it was the tub you could find a different one.
