Hey everyone. I dont post in here that much because I have next to no contact with FOB and he's never seen Brady and doesn't want to so I dont have any arguments or problems with him. I couldn't give a crap about not actually being with him, but tonight, after putting Brady to bed I really wished that there was someone else here to share those proud parent moments with.

Like, today when we went to my friends and Brady was so happy and smiley and cooing away the whole time or the other day when laughed for the first time :cloud9:

There's a huge part of me that loves that I get him all to myself, but then today it just struck me how nice it would be to be able to share those little moments with someone.

Is it just me???

So if there was someone there, what would you tell them about your LO and what they've been getting up to?

hi Baby... how was work? me and the LO ate everything we could lay our hands on and the fridge is empty again

I tend to tell my friend.. Although I share it with my parents, :)

I am proud every day at every little thing she does. Just watching her playing, talking, smiling... everything she is is because of me. She is happy and well looked after because of me. Not her useless good for nothing father. I am the one who has been there when she got her first tooth, said her first word, took her first steps... I tend just to tell myself these things but I also brag on here sometimes or tell members of my family :)

it would be nice to tell her dad how well shes doing at school and whats shes learnt :( x

I'm in the same boat as you. I quite like the fact that those moments are just between us but if I want to share his grandparents get to share them which I know they love.

I think one of my proudest moments was when Oliver rolled onto his side for the first time. He is slower developing his rolling over and still can't do that yet so when he went on his side I was so proud of him.

well avas still not done lots, but her grins and smiles bring tears to my eyes, so proud. it would be lovely to share it with her dad, but hes more interested in fighting me. So for now im happy to keep these moments between the two of us. my mum and sister are around to share things with aswell x

I share all my moments with my mum and dad. Theyve been there for me and my children consistently, unlike their dads, and are just as proud of me at their accomplishments x

I share the accomplishments with my mother also, if they do something I call her!! I didnt break up with FOB (2 previous children) Until the children were 3 & 5, Im not sure how Im goin to handle the "FIRSTS" by myself the smiles the crawling/walking etc. It would be great to share that but It wont be any LESS special because Im not :) After all I am proud of EVERYTHING my kids do, and my little girl will amaze me just as much when she arrives!

I always ring my mum when Kacie does something, when she was first born I'd ring her everytime she poo'd, cos it wasn't very often haha

I share my proud moments with my mum and my gran and my friends though im sure they're sick of hearing me :haha: I had LO in his bouncer yesterday and he grabbed the toy in the middle and started the music himself and gave me a massive big smile :) I was sooo proud! And kind of thought you know FOB is really missing out on someone so special and later he will be tormented if he ever gets any regrets on everything he's missing out on

My proudest moments are when my children turn to me and tell me how proud they are of me. I've spent every day with them since they were born and love the fact that they trust me 100% and know that i will never leave them or let anything or anyone hurt them. That confidence they have, knowing i love them to the end of the world is priceless.

 I do this too! He used to be sooo constipated and now he has major poo incidents. I think the last one was 'Brady outdid himself today, he managed to poo on every single piece of clothing he was wearing as well as mine'!
