sharp abdominal pains UPDATES! and more concerns!

Hi I'm just wondering if anyone has dealt with this?
It feels like a stabbing, sharp pain and it happens on both the left and the right sides.
I've had this almost a week straight.
Ive been to ER because the pain radiated up to my chest and all they said was that it was my body changing, but its going on day 7 with no relief.
any stories or advice would really help as this is my first pregnancy and so everything that is not in the books makes me concerned and worried. lol

PS There is not any spotting, back pain, or discharge.

Go back to hospital or your gp. I am sure it isn't, but ectopic needs to be ruled out straight away.

Also contact your midwifery centre ( I am guessing you don't have one yet) and ask for advice.

Yeah I'm thinking thats what Im going to do, nothing at all seems to help this pain.

I wish I already had an OB, I have my first appointment to get on Friday but there is no way Ill be able to handle this until Friday.

So I went back to the hospital, they still dont know what it is but they did do a few more tests that they didnt do last time.
I have a slight UTI which I was completely unaware of as nothing has been burning, but at least they caught it early.
My hcg was at 1477 which was up from 264 on Friday.
So they said that my levels were moving at an appropriate rate.
I had an ultrasound and sadly since I wasnt at 1500 hcg they still couldnt see the baby
They also had a difficult time finding my right ovary which is definately the source of the pain. I wanted to scream while he was digging in there trying to find it.
But they didnt say that anything was abnormal.

Also while in the ER they gave me a dose of morphine even though I denied any pain meds when the Dr Asked. I asked about 3 times that this was going to be safe for my baby but they all said it would be fine. The Dr also gave me a prescription for Tylonal 3's with the Codene. I was wondering if anyone has used either while they were pregnant and if it was okay or should I freak out and not take them?

have they checked for cysts on your ovary? i have one on my left ovary its called a corpus luteum and it was causing pain for me but they said it was a good thing cause thats what helps sustain the pregnancy x

I had the same thing the first time I was pregnant and they couldn't find baby either. They ended up doing a laparoscopy to check my tubes were clear. They found a great big cyst and no baby. Three days later he was on the scan right as rain and the pain stopped. He is two now

I hope it turns out to be a cyst - because they are harmless really.

I do have a history of ovarian cysts so that could explain whats going on.
I'm going back in two days for another u/s and blood work so Ill be sure to mention that to them so they take pictures!
