Hey all,

I'm 4+2 and today i've been getting sharp pains in my left ovary. They are jabbing pains and come and go, not continuous. Is this normal? I'm booking in at the GP later, wondering if i should mention it??

Thanks all xxx

It must be a corpus luteum cyst. It is a type of ovarian cyst which may rupture about the time of menstruation, and take up to three months to disappear entirely. During pregnancy it can be seen on early u/s. It is from where your baby initially came from.

I would say definitely worth mentioning to your GP saying you'll be there today. Good to have peace of mind x
