Sharp pain in my left side

I was sleeping last night(on the floor). Lol I was sleeping on the floor, because I was staying with my grandparents, and the bed is TOO soft for me. It hurts my back, so the floor is better ! Any who, I was sleeping all peacefully then I get awaken by the sharpest pain on the left of my stomach. I yelp when I woke up. My sister even heard me. I'm 20 weeks, and any kind of pain like that is new to me. Should I be concerned? Any ideas on what it could be?

I had all sorts of aches and pains especially in my tummy and sides, it could be growing pains, they really hurt! If you are ever concerned though don't hesitate to phone the midwife! It's so easy for them to check baby etc

Im the same as Clair, i get tons of sharp pains and aches all day at all times. You're probably beginning to feel baby kick soon and move around, and considering we are at peak growing stage, it can be very achey, and you may have just moved and pulled a muscle/stretched a ligament.

Just rest, put your feet up and get everyone else to run around for you but i wouldnt worry xxxx
