As many know my FOB is between two guys im pretty sure its the first guy tho. BUt he refuses to test and the girl who i went to school with claims to have his baby as well so i went and emailed her to try to talk to her to see if she would like to get together and do a sibling DNA test since he wont take one and we both hate courts well she gets on FB and emails me saying i dont wanna be your friend and i dont care if you have something to talk to me about i have no need to talk to you. then blocks me!!!!! SHE DOESNT KNOW THAT HER DAUGHTER MAY HAVE A HALF SISTER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i mean it wasnt like they were together or even talking when him and i dtd so its like why be a bitch to me. I Need to know cuz my girl is having major health issues coming from her Fathers side but i need to know his history to help her!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! UGH!!!!!!!

Weird how he has the right to deny. Here (Europe) the police can even come and get them if they dont proceed with the dna test...

Hm. Sibling relationships aren't important to some people. They really are to me kids should know their siblings, but if she won't agree there's not much you can do x

Perhaps she is in denial and doesn't want to know that he has also fathered another child? she might still have feelings for him or something? bit of a childish response from her though, given the circumstances.

FOB has no choice in the UK if, for some reason ( e.g access rights) a DNA test is needed for something. Like previous poster said, he would be summoned or face court if he doesn't comply.

She probably just doesn't want to get involved. I have half sisters I've never met (they were born a long time before me, AFAIK they're in their 50's) and it has never bothered me or my other sisters, it's just not something my parents wanted.

I want my LO to know I never stopped him seeing his half siblings, because it'd really upset me if I was kept away from mine. I have a half sister that means the world to me. I'll do everything I can to encourage a healthy relationship between LO and any siblings he has if he wants it, he has to know I never stopped him, but I won't force him/enforce it without support. You've done your job Honey, You've tried. You can't push it for your own sanity. x

Definitely agree! I have a half sister who I am EXTREMELY close to! She's 15 years older than me! And a half brother who is 16 years older and has given me 2 beautiful neices and 1 gorgeous nephew!

I also agree - you have done all you can hun, your girl cannot put any blame on you for anything in the future as you've really tried for her xx
