December 29th I went in to be induced, i was checked and wad 3cms dilated. They only checked me 2 times the entire labor. They started pitocin at about 9am labor started and I had to get blood tests to see if I could get the epidural. They decided to delay breaking my water and bring on harder contractions until they had an answer for the epidural, at about 530 I was able to get it, contractions were pretty painful at this point, as soon as they were finishing up and actually putting the meds into my water broke all on its own. Baby girls heart rate dropped to 110 so they had to put on oxygen which helped then they check to see how dilated I was just to find out baby was ready to be born I gave one push and she arrived at 609 weighing 7lbs and 20in long she is so perfect and does an amazing job at nursing.

Congratulations on your sweet little bundle and I wish you the best of luck with your breastfeeding journey. It really is a wonderful experience and I'm looking forward to doing it again with my DD when she arrives in March.
