I had my little girl yesterday at 7.59am
I started having contractions on the 14th at around 7pm, but they weren't regular. Lost a lot of my plug around this time too. Contractions continued through Monday night, and Tuesday. My waters broke at 3.00am Tuesday, called the labour ward to let them know, and was told to wait until my contractions were regular (they were still all over the place), before going to the hospital. Made it to 5.00am and decided that I'd had enough and wanted to see how well I was doing, contractions were still irregular. Got to hospital about 5.30am, where my contractions were coming every two minutes. Midwife strapped me up to listen to the baby's heartbeat, and I told her I wanted a waterbirth and to get the pool ready. At about 6.00am I had the urge to push, told the midwife, got examined and I was 7cm dilated, and told I can push when I wanted as the baby wasn't hanging around. Moved to the labour room, and baby arrived at 7.59am.
I didn't get my waterbirth, or even have chance to get our hospital bag out the car. But she's here and well
She weighs 7lbs 12oz
