Anyone tried this? I'd like a little girl next time. I've two beautiful little boys! Thinking of getting the book!

Thanks ☺️

Yes I tried and had another 2 boys lol, I now have 4 boys and pregnant with my 5th baby, this was a complete accident though and was using protection so I'm hoping it's a little girl sneaking in lol!

Hi , we tried it this time, I'm 16 weeks, just sent 8 week and 13 week scan to gender expert just for fun and they sent back result predicted GIRL ! I'm going to gender scan next week so I'll update., I have 3 boys so would be nice to be able to buy pink for a change ha.,but both a blessing x just want healthy baba ️xx
I'll update when ive been for scan :)

We have two boys and I'm pregnant with our third baby. We find out the gender Tuesday morning, less than 48 hours. This baby (well the timing) was unplanned. I believe we dtd 3-5 days before I ovulated. I know what day we did and it was the only time that could have resulted on a pregnancy, I'm just not 100% on when I ovulated. Somewhere between 3-5 days after. I'll update when I find out the gender to see if the shettles method unintentionally worked for us haha.

I have had a look at research and there doesn't seem to be any real evidence, however after 4 planned boys and one not so planned little girl, i think there may be something in it.... we only dtd once the whole month (dh has chronic lung disease and its difficult as he is so poorly) 8 days before ov, and well here she comes!?

How exciting, Jessicahide! I keep hearing mixed things about the shettles method too. But most of the little girls I know were either conceived by accident (and not near ovulation) or using the shettles method so it does seem like there is something to it.

Its true, every oopsie i know is a girl.... Haaa! Strange!!

We are very excited, i was really concerned about my little one as i wanted him to be my baby boy, and its all worked out after all xx

Well, I have two "surprise" daughters (no idea of when they were conceived). However, I am currently pregnant with one VERY planned little girl, who was conceived on the day of ovulation. It was the only time we DTD anywhere within my fertile window, and it was the day after I'd gotten my positive OPK (in the morning). I was fully expecting it to be a boy thanks to the Shettles theory, but was thrilled to discover that we were expecting another little princess instead. We weren't trying to sway for anything, since we'd been TTC for a year at that point and just wanted a healthy baby.

I do think that certain factors can sway toward one gender or the other, and that some of them are within our control. However, I don't think that timing is very effective. From what I've heard, diet changes and PH monitoring seems to be the most useful tools when it comes to gender swaying.

Good luck getting your pink bundle! <3
