Shooting pains 'down there'???

I keep having these weird pains... best way to describe it is like someone is prodding near my cervix with a toothpick again and again... it doesn't hurt, but I can feel it. Some days it happens once or twice, other days constantly. I'm getting worried as to what it means. Had it a bit before I was pg, but not this much...

Anyone else having this?

I'm 12 weeks tomorrow and I've been having this on and off for 2 or 3 weeks.
