Short cycle? Early ovulation? Confused :( updated with new pic

Ok ladies. A little history.

First things first I know this is not positive. However all my other tests have been blank so bare with me. I'm hoping its the start of something.


I came off birth control at the start of June. In June I had three periods. 3-4 day periods with 7-8 days in between. This last one is just ended this morning so I decided to start opk's incase by chance I start ovulating now. Well this morning is the first time I have ever had a line of any kind on one. This mornings was light and this afternoons a Bit darker. Now I'm worried I will ovulate this soon after my period and have a short cycle and not be able to get pregnant. If I ovulate soon and only have 8 days after its impossible correct? Two pics. Top is this morning bottom is this afternoon

Hi Hun that's not a positive opk. Most ladies always get a second line not all get progression up to ovulation. Hope this helps x

I understand and know that it's not positive. All my other test have been blank though so I'm hopin it's the start of my body working again.

It could be Hun I get progression on mine. I start getting second lines about 5 days before ovulation the I get my positive then it gradually gets lighter. Xx

Yay! It's getting darker. This is good right? Top this morning bottom tonight. Now just to pray for a long enough cycle.

Yes defo a good sign mine get darker the closer I get but quite quick so cd14 am no second line then I start getting a second line in the evening. Then by cd15 5pm I had a very dark second line defo positive. But s'more ladies get a gradual progression over a couple of day. You may be one of those ladies. Good luck xx
