I'm not sure whether I should be concerned or not. My OB isn't concerned so I guess I shouldn't be?
Baby's weight.
Between 32-33wks = 2080grams
34-35 wks = 2830 grams (huge jump)
35-36 wks = 2988 grams (so only roughly 150 grams)
37-38wks (today) 3000 (so 12 grams!)

So admittedly, today he used a different ultrasound machine. I guess my concern is to have a massive 800gram weight gain in around a 2wk period, compared to around 160gram weight gain in a three week period!

Has the growth of your LO reduced towards the end? Should I just relax because its a different machine?

If you're concerned then ask your doctor about it, however, as I understand it, 1) ultrasounds are not perfect when estimating weight, and 2) they don't grow at a constant weight, they have growth spurts and what not.

This is just my understanding and happy to be told i'm wrong if I am but as I say the best person to ask is your doctor or midwife.

Wsh^^^

I was told ultrasound can be up to 300grams off either way... If your ob wasn't concerned then I don't see any reason to worry :)

It sounds about right, my LO at 35 weeks was measuring at 2650ish. The growth estimates on ultrasounds are not always right though, people have been told they were going to have a 10 pound baby, only to give birth to an 8 pounder.
