Should I be excited? 14 weeks scan...

I have a scan in a few hours. It's my first appointment with my new nurse midwife.

Is it possible that I could accurately find out the gender today??? Oh I hope so!! But, if not- that's okay too. I can't wait to seen the baby again!

Just as an aside- Even though we're planning on finding out the gender, we're telling everyone that we're NOT finding out until delivery. I'm so bad! LOL

I don't like pink or blue things at all. I like gray, green, yellow, red, white, black etc... pretty much all the colors except pink and blue. And you know that NOBODY listens to you when you tell them no pink and no blue. So to them! ;-)

Great idea, I like colours other than pink and Blue too all our nursery items were lime green xx

That's funny!!! It'll be quite the surprise for them!!! I found out we were having a boy at 13w2d and it was.. OBVIOUS! With a well developed, cooperative baby, a good technician, and good equipment it is quite possible to find out accurately that early. I didn't go shopping or anything until confirmation at 18 weeks and again at 19w3d, but he is all boy.

We will hopefully be finding out what flavour these two are mid september... and DH wants to keep it to just us!! I know i will struggle to keep my mouth shut and i have a feeling he will too.... so we'll see how long that lasts! lol
