Should I be worried?

I finally got my positive opk today on cd 17 which is 2 days later than the last 2 months. The last time I ovulated on day 17 my period still came at its usual time meaning a shorter lp. I wasn't bothered at the time as we weren't ttc I was just tracking in preparation. My lp will be 10 days if the same thing happens again. How much of a problem could this be for me?

I don't think it would be a problem. Baby can implant between 6-12dpo so you still have a 4 day chance for implantation and most implant before 10dpo so I wouldn't worry about it. I have seen many ladies get a on here with a 10 day LP

Thanks for the reassurance! I did another opk today and it was even more positive so I think ov is happening even later! Really hope it's not an issue.
