should I call the midwife?

In a week ive put on 9lbs. Didn't think anything of it until I mentioned it to a couple if people and they told me to ring the midwife :/.
Dont want to sound stupid if I ring.
What would u do? X

I'd double check with the midwife, they hear all sorts of questions and won't think you're silly. That is a lot to put on in a week, it could be swelling and fluid, which should be checked out if sudden or dramatic.

Thanks. And now that u mention swelling my friend yesterday commented on my face looking puffy :/. Ill give her a ring and see what she says. X

Thank you both.
I rung the midwife she didn't seem concerned. She said to keep an eye for any more swelling and if I feel unwell at all to ring the l&d ward.
My next appointment is the 19th so theyll do my blood pressure then. Hopefully will be nothing. X
