Should I count this as a new cycle?

So... I had my second miscarriage starting on June 21st. I bled a LOT for 7 full days and then it stopped. About 6 days ago, I started bleeding again. I've been bleeding pretty heavily for 6 days. When I went to the specialist today, they did a pelvic ultrasound, found nothing in my uterus but some fluid around my ovary. He told my OBGYN that he thinks I ovulated. What? When did my body have time to do that? If I did ovulate, I guess this bleeding is my period?

Should I count the start of this latest round of bleeding as Day 1 and start a new cycle chart? So confused and of course I didn't even think to ask today at the office.

I would just keep charting and mark the dates that you were bleeding... Then just watch what the temps decide to do. Do you use fertility friend? I think if you mark bleeding it will automatically put that as CD1. I hope this helps heather...

I am so sorry for you losses...

I do use FF. I haven't posted in it since my BFP because I knew that it would have marked the miscarriage day as a CD1, even though I wasn't convinced it really was.

I'm sorry for your loss. I hope you're doing okay. I agree with Mommy, go ahead and start charting again. It is most likely your first AF, almost 4 wks is plenty of time for your Hcg levels to go back below 5. I pray that you will have a healthy pregnancy and baby soon! Good luck sweety!

Thanks, guys. I've been doing pretty well with things lately, but yesterday I was really bummed. I am a little like that today too. I just wonder if this is ever going to happen. I think that having to start again with the charting, plus seeing so many pregnant people around me and put me into a "mini-funk".

The bleeding's gone now, and I'm on day 8, if that was AF.

I know Heather, we all know how you feel. It's extremely frustrating. I wrote this in response to another thread so sorry if it seems like I'm repeating myself but I actually threw my cell phone across the room when I found out a coworker thought she was pregnant....talk about a funk! I strongly don't recommend that BTW. Dealing with things gets easier, don't get discourage! :hugs:

If you have a gap of 20 or more days inbetween the bleeds, then yes count as CD1
