My LO is 8 weeks tomorrow, since he was born I have tried to stick to the guide lines on feeding for his weeks/weight, I dont want to over feed him. I have been giving him 5x5oz and then the guide line says to up it to 5x6oz from 8 weeks but I started on 6oz from last Wed. He is starting to STTN now having last bottle at 11pm and sleeping till 6am and last night slept he went down at 7 and slept till 3 am, sleeping through his 11pm and woke at 3am, then didnt wake till 10am....So this only leaves him with 4 feeds... Do I up his day time bottles to 7 oz or is he ok to just miss a feed if he is sleeping??

Im so confused, I dont have a health nurse so dont know who to ask

Honestly ignor wht the they say, every baby is different therefore they all need different amounts. My LO has only just gone up to 5oz bottles at 12 weeks old. He now has 5 bottles a day. If your LO is doing ok on what he's having then leave him to that, he would wake up if he was hungry.
What does your LO weigh? Is he sick at all?

He is about 11lb, he was born 8.2... He has acid reflux so he does bring back up a bit of each feed.

You could always bump up his current bottles by an ounce to make up for the bottle missed when he is sleeping.

My lo started sleeping 8pm-7am at 12 weeks and she ended up dropping a feed. I get her weighed regularly and although her weight has dropped from the 98th percentile to the 75th she is still gaining. I just upped the bottles in the day by an oz. Sometimes she will drink it sometimes she won't. I wouldn't worry too much hun if she was hungry i doubt she would sleep so well :)
