Hello,
I got my first ever BFP after one course of clomid in september. Unfortunately I found out I had a silent miscarriage on my 12 week scan and had ERPC to remove it couple of weeks ago.
I have now stopped bleeding and me and hubby decided to try again straight away.
What I was wondering though, I still have 2 courses of Clomid at home that I haven't used. I thought about waiting til I get one normal AF and then at the next AF perpaps take the tablet. Would you do that? Or would you wait til you see the specialist at the hospital (I have an appointment in March)?
Also, I was prescribed Metformin because of PCOS, should I take that again?

I'm in almost the same situation - I got prescribed clomid but then got BFP the cycle before I was due to take it but had already picked up the pills. I MC-ed at 9 1/2 weeks and had ERPC last week. I think I'm going to wait one or even two cycles before I take it - don't have a specialist appt lined up. I imagine it's not strictly the right thing to do but I don't see what harm it can really do. Good luck whatever you decide xx

Hi Sunshine,
I am hoping you will read this post as I have spoken to the nurses at the fertility clinic of my hospital and they said to start taking Clomid and Metformin again once my first real AF arrives.
Perhaps you ought to give your hospital a call as well as they may want to monitor your egg growth if you do take clomid (my hospital does a scan for the first cycle and if it's ok then you carry on by yourself for the next ones)?
Good luck!!
