Lily is a month old 2moro and is drinking 120ml (4oz) every 4ish hours, she is drinking the bottle dry but not sure if she is still wanting more.....

the next step up (as per instruction on side of box) is 180ml....there is no instruction for 160ml (which i would like to make up)... 120ml is 4 scoops & 180ml is 6 scoops....so how many scoops for 160ml!! aggggghhhh!

Our aptimal box has instructions for 150ml which is 5 scoops... We were told when he is consistently draining the bottle then go up.

I would measure it in ounces. Each ounce is 30ml, and one scoop. So 150ml is 5 scoops. If your baby drains more than two bottles a day, you could put them up because they might still be hungry.

What I was told to do was make up a full bottle or maximum amount and pour desired amount into another bottle to give to your LO. Or like suggested, work out scoop/mL. We were doing 150mL and it worked out on our formula to be 2 1/2 scoops.

I have these same issues. Worse case scenario hun make up the 180 and just give her what she wants.

I always worked in oz because it was a lot easier to me! 1oz = 1 scoop of the formulae that we used.

The way I always worked is that when she started draining bottles, I would up them by an ounce. So I tended to always be making up 1 more oz than she would be drinking. That way I always knew that she was having as much as she wanted.

Also, don't worry too much about what the side of the box says. Those numbers are guidelines, not strict instructions. My LO never ever matched up with what they said her age should be taking. And very rarely for weight too.

my MIL told me she worked on 1oz=1 scoop, think im gonna go with that!
