Shouldn't I be bleeding more than this? Update: Baby died at 6 weeks :0(

misscs thanks for the advice hon. I have to admit I'm leaning on the D&C, although if I start to bleed this week obviously I'll let it happen. As I bleed lots Sunday I'm hoping I will soon.

Emmea12uk can't believe we are posting here either. I hope we recover eventually and be bump buddies again soon. xxx

Update 2

Back from EPU, baby hasn't grown since Saturday, no heartbeat still. Not good so basically it's confirmed over. Waiting for one more week for final scan then we decided whether to go naturally or have a d&c. Not sure what I'm going to do. I'm ok about it, went knowing it anyway really based on the bleed and the fact it's 2 weeks behind. I did a lot of grieving at the weekend so I feel ok. Just don't want this to drag.

My baby had a heart beat and then two days later when we went for a scan it had stopped.

The pain in my abdomen started off like small cramps and got quite strong and I had terrible pain over night and then in the early hours of the morning I felt myself pass the sack. I won't lie it was very painful and heartbreaking too. I however was lucky as it happened over night and I didn't have to wait.

I went for a scan after 7 days and they confirmed everything was gone, I knew they would say this but it really hurt.

I bled for about 10 days, the last few being quite light like the end of a period. It will be two weeks tomorrow

I am sorry to hear of your loss.

I have just recently gone through a mc, I was about 4 weeks 5 days. I had positives oneday, an neg the next. Then when I wiped I was shocked to see blood. I had had some sharp stabbing pains and a little cramping the night before, but didn't think anything of it. The blood smelt very different from normal af blood, and was quite mucusie to start with. I continued to bleed for the next 4 days, and the blood varried in colour, and heaviness. But mostly when I wiped ( sorry if tmi). I had mild cramps all the way along my abdomen, and backache, and lower back pain, and also pressure ( keep feeling the need to go to the toilet ). Yesterday I had strong cramping around my abdomen with more backache and pressure, followed by heavier bleeding, and a few pieces of disintergrated tissue, and a couple of small clotts. The nurse did say also that I might not even notice when I pass the baby, as she ( I am covinced it would have been a girl ) was so small. This morning I woke, and no blood, and no pains or aching.

I hope this helps you. I never had intense pain.

Hi, I to should have been 8 weeks, but was told I was only measuring 5+5wks on the scan, no hb either. I opted medical management, which are basically tablets to induce the pregnancy. Most people complete within 8 hrs and bleed for a few days afterwards. I didn't loose the sac for 5 days (24th Aug), but I then only bled for 3 days. Day 1 was really heavy, day 2 normal period type, day 3 light. To my amazement I have also ovulated as normal straight after. Everybody is different...good luck xxx

So sorry we are all going through this. Just miscarried today, 3rd time in a row for me though they have all been different. I should have been 6 weeks today, a week ago my digi conception indicator should have said 3+ but stayed at 2-3 and I just knew pregnancy wasn't progressing. Had hcg done 3 days ago(267) and y'day it was just over 300 so not a viable pregnancy. I didn't have a scan but was told I would probably start bleeding in a week. I had pink cm for a few days up to y'day.I woke today at 5am with bad cramps and when I got up at 7am I felt very sore and faint and was bleeding lots of dark red blood but no clots. At 9 am I went to the loo and felt the sac fall out. Tmi( sorry) but I scooped it out of the toilet, just couldn't leave it there and opened the sac and there was a half cm fetus attached inside. Sorry if this is tmi. I got a real sense of closure when I saw it. The midwife had told me that I couldn't gave d&c because there wasn't enough there with an hcg of 300 but I think hcg would have been nearly 2000 the week before, which would have been consistent with a five week fetus, I think this is when the baby died. I have since buried the baby and sac in the garden. The pain has gone since the sac passed and the bleeding is very light, so luckily all over very quickly. My last mc was at 9 weeks so sac really big though the fetus only grew to 4 mm but my body didn't realise and I felt very pregnant. Had a d&c fir that one because it would have been weeks before my body realised and I couldn't bear feeling pregnant any more. Was the right thing to do with the bigger sac and I had no pain and bled for 4 days. Mc before that was very early, bled from when af due on and off for 2 weeks. That one was painless and i saw no sac.The past 2 mc I ov'd after 10-14 days from start of mc.

I've been reading this thread as the same thing is happening to me....mmc at 11 weeks, baby died at 7. started to bleed but not a great deal. no pain. wondering if yo uhad a dand c or waited to have a natural mc? If you waiting how long did you wait? opeyou don't mind me asking. It's all i ever think about at the moment. So sorry for your loss. xxx

Hi hun I think every womans body is different and copes differently! I had 3 mc's and all at 5 weeks and the bleeding was just like a normal period for me! Xxxx sorry for your loss hun! Xxx
