My baby is 3 weeks old on monday and as I couldn't BF he is FF. We started him on SMA gold which wasn't working out for him at all, he was very constipated and throwing bits up. So we talked to the HV and decided to change his milk over, so were now on Aptimel, which he's been on almost a week. It started off pretty good and hes poo's got softer which is great, but all seems to have gone down hill again, hes throwing up bits again, and this morning my partner got up with him and told me he pretty much threw up the whole bottle in little bits. So he's not taking enough in. I'm not sure what this is, I mean is it colic? is there any reason they would throw it up and anything I can do? We have been giving him Infacol before every feed also as recommended by HV which I thought had been helping with his wind. When he was weighed last was told he hadn't put on much weight as he is a big baby, was 9lb 3oz at birth, and should be taking in more milk than he is, were making up 120ml bottles and he's leaving 20-30 ml of it a time. And he's feeding every 2 hours in the day, and 3-4 hours at night. I'm hoping any mums can give advice, before I call the HV/doctor, thanks
