Signs of PCOS!?

I would like to know what your symptoms that lead you to find out you have pcos?

Do you have to have long cycles?

i started having longer/heavier bleeding durring my periods, i would go months without having my menstrual period, weight gain-- more around the waist area, and a little bit of noticable hairs on my breast area and stomach... if you think u have pcos, its best to have an ultrasound done to check your ovaries for cysts and im currently taking metformin 1000mg per day which is used to help with ovualtion and with having polystic ovaries... i did have an ultrasound done and i found out years ago that i have many cysts in my left and right ovaries... hope this info helps you xx

Okay, I dont think I do I'm just curious why it never has been brought up from my doc. But I just had another ultrasound and they said everything looked amazing, so maybe that's why. I also have had HSG, and Bloodwork for ovulation which all has been good.

I'm just running out of idea's and thought I would ask!

I have periods every month, and I do ovulate.
My periods are VERY VERYVERY painful but other than that
everything is normal for me!
