Hi ladies,
My SIL was recently diagnosed with PND, nearly a year after having her LO. I was just wondering if anyone with experience of PND could give me some advice on what I could do to help her?
She's coped well since her LO was born but I could tell, and she had told me, that she was not 100% and she thought she had PND at the start but that it had got better, but recently she's been noticeably down. She has a lot of help from her DH, Mum and our MIL but I know she still feels very alone with the way she feels. The doc prescribed her meds, I don't know what, but she is hesitant to take them.
Our LOs are close in age and have fun when they're together so it's always good to get together and I've tried a lot over the last few months to spend more time with her, but she's not always up for it.
How can I help her without seeming interfering?
