I would love to learn how to make bruschetta but I'm wondering how you get the bread so nice and crispy but not burnt? Also what bread is best to use? Thanks!!

I use a baguette.

Put a little oil in a frying pan, heat it up, put bread in pan pan and check it doesn't go too dark. Serve with tomato and onion. Yum.

^^ I do the same :)

I did my ex a romantic candle lit 3 course meal for his birthday and did it as a starter :haha: yummy :D

I was planning on doing this as a starter for christmas so this is good to know :)

Dh uses ciabatta and puts in the oven. Then rubs the toasted ciabatta with a fresh clove of garlic. Delicious!

I always use a baguette, slice it... Then I mix together in a bowl plum tomatoes (firm), olive oil, basil and a little garlic. :) Yum.

I made a three course meal for my room mates family, as he can't cook to save his life.. If you get someone that doesnt like Bruschetta, you can slice the baguette, add a little garlic to some butter in a pan.. spread it on.. home made garlic bread for those that want something different. Takes two minutes. x
