Izzy doesn't take water.
Can i put her milk into them?
If she takes the milk well in them can i start giving her all her feeds in a sippy cup or is this not recommended?
I have the tt 4+ one.

Thanks x

hey love, how old is you LO?

From your signature she is about 3 months old? I think she might be a bit young for a sippy cup and she should be getting all the fluids she needs from the formula she is getting. I personally did not introduce water or a sippy cup until i weaned at 6 months.

We have that sippy cup too. I agree with Kage, 3 months might be a little young still. Our TT sippy has quite a fast flow quite a fast flow and it takes more skill and coordination to drink from one than it does to drink from a bottle. I think it's likely it would just frustrate her at this stage, plus you want to make sure most of it goes into her tummy and with a sippy cup it could easily end up everywhere BUT in her tummy!

My LO is 8 months old and only recently mastered the sippy cup. There's no way he could have drunk his milk from it even at 6 months.

Hi girls, she is 15 weeks two days. I wasn't going to start introducing it until 16 weeks and do it very slowly, as it says on them four months plus.

Just wanted to know if it was ok to give milk in them so i could slowly start to make that transition.

I have 2 kids. I swapped them over from a bottle to a sippy at 5 months. There were some ugly stares by alot of women but it made no difference to me. I did give them their formula milk in the sippy and if they wanted it...they drank from it and figured it out really quickly with no problems at all. It was a quick and easy transition. If they do start drinking
too quickly you can always stop and allow them to catch their breath etc. I also started
introducing baby food at this time to. I used their sippy's similar to how a grown person drinks with a
meal. Several bites, then a few swigs then repeat. Then any left over milk they got in the end. They should be getting more milk than food for the first year so just make sure that if your LO isn't interested in finishing remaining milk in sippy to cut back on the foot portion. That process worked for us well. Good
luck!
