Hey ladies! I think I actually may be getting a BFP this cycle! 8DPO today, and I dipped two different tests. I think I see the start of my BFP! I've attached the link to CDTP and please vote(if you have an account on there) and please post here with your thoughts! Thanks!

I see the tiniest hint of a line on the second one so I voted positive, but I didn't see anything on the first. How many DPO are you again??

8DPO. I can see it more on the second test, too. Maybe I will post the second one by itself and let people vote that way.

Hello all, my name is Jill (29 in November) & DH is Dan (32), hence the username DandJ. We live in Northern Virginia and have been married 2 years this October and have a spoiled kitty named MacGyver which we rescued from the kill shelter. Last July we bought my in-laws house as they were both unemployed and couldn't afford their mortgage so they sold us their home for cheap and gave us some money to remodel. All that comes with a price though.... they live with us until they "figure out their plan" and so we can sell the house, make profit and live on our own. I love them, but I am starting to resent them and they are slobs. So if you see any of my rants, it's 95% because of them
I'm a computer nerd/geek and have met good friends in person in real life from forums I have been posting on from 2004 so I am hoping to meet long lasting friends here. My girlfriends either have their own kids or out busying partying... there's nothing in between which I fit into. Sigh.
July was our official month of TTC but obviously to no avail, but gotta keep trying!
But anyway.... nice to meet you all formally!

Will be in a similar situation with my folks. We're buying their house to own and they'll live with us until they've got a down payment on their house.

Amanda, I am sorry about your losses... I can't even begin to fathom 
I think it's different when it's YOUR parents and not the in-laws, hopefully it won't bother your DH too much.
I am looking forward to the new year when we finally know what their plan is and kick 'em out! Sorry, I know that's not nice but I honestly don't know how much more I can take of them.

I probably won't POAS until 9DPO, just because implatation isn't common before then. I'd probably normally wait until 10DPO but since FF and I don't agree on what day I O'd, I'm pushing it up a day. I'm 4DPO now and I wish POAS right now would show me something hahaha but I know it won't!
though it's easy to say now that I won't test in a few days... I'm sure I'll give in haha!
We are going to the Ren Faire this weekend and I have to come up with an excuse not to drink all day just in case. I'm not a big drinker and normally only have a cup or two of mulled wine or mead and call it a day. Maybe I can just carry a drink around and let H sneakily drink it haha

Drinking wouldnt make a difference anyway. The umbilical cord doesnt start to form until five weeks.. So you are a okay until then!

As for testing early.. in my opinion I prefer to wait even though it's excruciatingly difficult but at least you won't be wasting the sticks and feeling disappointed. That is just my two cents though! Although, Brooke you do have the sticks that allow you to test early so my two cents don't apply here
