Six week check-up and contraception

Do you know what is usually done at the 6 week check-up?
Also, recent mommies, what are you planning on using for contraception?

Will just be using condoms... well when i actaully want sex again lol Nothing else agrees with me apart from OH doesnt like condoms but im not having another baby for atleast 4 years!!

I cant remember fully what happned at the checkup haha , my memeroy is awful!

I remember my doctor saying she'll do a pap test.. So I'm not looking forward to this AT ALL... It involves the speculum, NOOOO!!!!!!

Also I'm back on the pill already.

I was using bc before pregnancy but now I plan on just using good old fashion condoms.

ive got my check-up on fri and im plannin to go on the pill, we had sex for the 1st time th eother day and used a condom but OH isnt to impressed with them lol.

I love the implant, that works straight away, if you get it done straight after your period

I'm on the mini pill, and at the six week check, they talk to you ask how you feel etc and check your blood pressure etc then they do the baby, measure and weigh the baby and measure the LO's head etc and do a general check up, well thats what mine did

I'm planning on getting the injection because I really can't face being pregnant again for several years and I don't trust myself on the pill. Still I'm worried about using that sort of contraception since so many people seem to have trouble concieving afterwards.
