I got my first positive on a FRER about 9 days ago. I took a couple more last week and lines were getting darker. Yesterday I started spotting a little. I have low progesterone and am on prometrium, but as of last week HCG was doubling as it should. Today I took another FRER because I'm paranoid, and the line is still dark, but it's skinnier than the last 2 I took. Has anyone else had this happen? My last pregnancy ended in an mc, so now I'm paranoid. I know they say the tests are just qualitative, but it seems like everyone's lines do get lighter if HCG starts dropping.

I have taken way to many test and I think every test is a little different. I wouldn't stress out to much because those test aren't made to handle such large qualities of hcg and with erring your first bfp 9 days ago and hcg doubling... You probably have a lot in your system by not. But if you're worried I'd ask for another couple of beta test do ensure doubling.
