Oh my...I am ALWAYS sooo sleepy and tired.
I am still very much recovering from everything, my incision is healing nicely but pain is still present.
It seems that I can't get enough sleep, but for some reason I am afraid to sleep during the day with Mia next to me. I always want to be awake to check on her.

Not sure what to do to relax more :(

Oh you'll get over that soon enough. That's how I was when Noah came home, always checking on him. Then by 3rd week of no sleep, I just gave in and usualy have one nap with him during the day

I remember the first two nights I didn't sleep because I wanted to make sure that Connor was OK but after that I had to start sleeping at night because I started falling asleep when I was holding him. Hope you can get in a good sleep today :hugs:

I was like that with Anna - spent the whole first week awake all day and all night with her (because she was so poorly - at first I wanted to be down in SCBU with her 24/7 and then when she came up to the ward with me I was a)excited and just wanted to stare at her all night and b) scared because she had come off of the monitoring machines so I got worried she wasn't breathing and used to poke her awake every time she fell asleep (whoops! :dohh:) just to make sure she was still alive! )

By the 3rd or 4th week or so, you'll be cursing the lack of sleep and wondering why the hell you didn't take advantage of these early days and get as much sleep as possible! lol

nd used to poke her awake

I still do this sometimes. I am sooooooo paranoid, with absolutely no reason to be

Sleeping does get easier though, I was the same in the begining
