Does anyone know when you have to stop sleeping on your belly?? I heared that its ok untill it hurts or feels uncomfortable, is that true?

Great question. I wondered about the same thing too. I forget I am pregnant when I sleep and have a habit of sleeping face down on my tummy. Then I feel bad when I wake up and realize I sleep on my tummy. I hope I am not hurting the baby.

i also heard you can do it until it feels uncomfortable or hurts aswell...but if you like to sleep on your tummy i've been told that you can aslong as you build a mould type thingy for you belly using pillows lol dont know how comfy that would be :haha:

Well It dosnt bother me really it just feels kinda..hard.

since being pregnant i have started sleeping on my tummy and cant stop cause any other way is just not comfortable.

never had this with my DD was always a side sleeper with her

i've never been comfy on my tummy, i sleep on either side, Left if i can get comfy if not my right...always wake up on my left or back though!

I tend to toss and turn all night because I cant get comfortable or I get to hot :(.

i have wondered this for years!! as far as i have been told its safe as long as you can do it. i can't with the big ( . ) ( . )'s having gotten bigger. i already feel it most comfortable on my left side but do wake up when i need to roll over which then sets of the need to wee. i guess i am getting ready for a baby that will wake me ever few hours. :)

I can't sleep on my belly cause my boobs hurt so bad. I actually sleep on my left or right side but I put a pillow between my legs so my knees are not crushed together. I too have a terrible time sleeping, constantly tossing and turning. I wake up in the morning feeling like I got no sleep at all. And having to get up in the middle of the night to go pee, I am tired of that.

There is no danger to tummy sleeping, just that it gets painful!! :)

I have always been a stomach sleeper, and with my daughter did so until it was just too uncomfortable. I think I stopped sleeping on my stomach around 20 weeks, at that point it was like trying to sleep on a watermellon!! LOL!

i sleep on mine i am dreading the sleepless nights i am going to have when i cant sleep on my tummy

lol i have not got the pee thing yet, i have a sore back when i sleep on my side though and when i sit for to long...

everyone keeps telling me to wait till im masisve and i dont know what back pain is yet lol

I'm only 5 weeks and when I sleep on my tummy I feel something there. That scares me. But even if I lay on my back I still feel the something there. Probably the baby's sac?
