OK so I'm mixed feeding my 7wk old and am going through a ridiculous charade each evening and through the night that's driving me insane.

I'll bf him constantly from 6/7pm until anywhere between 10pm or 1am. At numerous points during this time he'll fall asleep but invariably wakes when I move him and cry and until I bf him again. Some nights ill go insane so my hubby will give him a bottle so I can regain my sanity but once its finished it will be bf, nap until moved, cry, bf - repeat until I'm completely exhausted and/or insane!

Please tell me I'm not alone! And of course any advice appreciated. P.s. have tried dummy but he just won't have it

I think you just have to ride it out. I remember the exact same thing with Mickey. Can't remember when it stopped but I guess it must have been about 9/10 weeks as he has been going to bed at the same time as his brother for a good few weeks now. It's totally normal but very draining xxx

Our lo wouldn't take a pacifier either and I was only able to soothe sometimes with the breast. I also wanted a way for OH to spend time with her and soothe her to sleep sometimes. I did some digging around and found the "soothie". Took her a minute to get used to it, but now I am able to soothe her with this while rocking her or let her soothe in her crib! We just introduced this this week at almost 7 weeks. It's worth a try.
