Slow rising hcg?

So my hcg last Friday was 16628 and yesterday it only went up to 17678.......it's rising but not very much does that mean I'm going to miscarry?

I'm not sure but I'm pretty sure when it hits a certain point it takes a lot longer (more than 96 hours) to double.... I how this helps. I will try to find some info online for you!

I thought I heard also that it's slower to rise after 6 weeks

He said it's not rising as much as it's meant to so he will send me for another blood draw and see if it's still rising. I have an ultrasound on Friday.......I'm so worried!!

Gotch ya Emi! Check this link above and it explains a lot. My doctor stopped checking hcg after we saw the baby's heartbeat because she said levels would begin decreasing not too long after that. I'd say you are fine and just on the tail end of any further increasing. In 2-3 more weeks it will start to decline. Happy and healthy 9 months to you!
