If its first stage milk its unlikely you would be able to find it cheap

I don't think you can get formula 'cheap'.
As far as I know they have to sell it at a certain price, hence why there are never special offers and stuff on it.

They are not allowed to reduce the 1st kind of formula. but I just bought the 2nd stage SMA for £6 from tesco and 2 for £12 from boots. a real bargain.

yeah like the other girls have said you don't get formula milk on offer...

Even the sainsburys add that was on for the 1/3 off baby products stated at the bottom *Excludes formlua....

Though I don't see why they shouldn't do it on offer... yes it is an essential for those who bottle feed but so are nappies, wipes, bottles etc & they are always on the offers either at Sainsburys, Tescos or Boots etc...

I was even looking in a wholesaler to see if they were any cheaper but they werent & all their other products are cheaper as they sell to the trade who then sell to the public...

I think its because theyre not allowed to be seen to be 'promoting' formula as obviously they want as many people as possible to breastfeed.

Same reason as there isnt allowed to be adverts for first stage formulas
