I had an appointment with the obs registrar today due to having underactive thyroid and I happened to mention I thought my first LO was a low birth weight for his gestation- he was 3.09 kg which puts him on the second centile and his head is around the 5th. She wanted to plot his head circumference but it wasn't recorded in my notes so she said she would just organise a growth scan
Neither me or my Hubby are small.... I thought she was going to say it was all fine and he was just little but she said she expected him to be bigger and now I'm worried about this baby.
I have no other risk factors I don't smoke etc so its all a bit strange to me
Does anyone have experience of this and what happened? Maybe I just make small babies?
(My LO is still small now and has never really been above the 9th)
