First of all, I wish with every ounce of my being that I could delete my facebook - unfortunately all of my friends are spread all over the damn country and I can't track them any other way. Every time I go on that godforsaken site some drama rears its ugly head. Like today -

My ex, who I have thankfully avoided until now, ran into my girlfriend's OH at the gun range and now they're going to be friends. ARE ALL MEN COMPLETELY ********? This begs three questions;

a) what good could possibly come from that friendship? He's purposely creating drama that will inevitably ruin his relationship (which is already on the rocks) since he's befriending the exhusband of his girlfriend's friend!

b) what kind of asshole is friends with the asshole who's abandoned his pregnant wife? I was friends with them first! I introduced them! I don't even really like the guy, but now I can't hang out with my gf because I don't want my ex to have any ties to my life. Especially now that I'm almost due! Gaah!!

c) WHAT ARE THE MFing CHANCES?! At the gun range?! REALLY? Fucking c'mon!!

I'm so mad right now. I hate this town and it's stupid small town coincidences. 350,000 people live here, it's not tiny. And yet, you can't meet anyone new who doesn't know a friend of your friend resulting in endless drama.

I hate drama. :hissy::hissy:

I'm gonna go look at the Ikea website some more and try to cheer myself up.

I live in a small village near small towns so i know what you mean :hugs:

Lol, I actually like small towns. The problem with this city is that it's a pretty big one that still has the small town mentality, so it's even harder to deal with. Instead of everyone knowing you and your problems, everyone just assumes they know you and makes assumptions based on that about your problems. :roll:

The town where I'd love to be right now only has 6000 people in it. I think there may be more bears in the area than people, lol. At least bears are low maintenance.

:hug:

I live in a town of 8000 people, I know what you mean about small town mentality.

Dont really know what to say but i understand your points and must be very annoying! I cant seem to escape my ex either because we were together for so long before baby we have so so many friends in common even though he actually lives on the other side of london to me! I stopped all contact with his 'friends' but my 'friends' dont seem to stop talking to him so unfortunately i had to cut alot of people out of my life because of the drama it was causing knowing people he knew!!
