Smell like...potatoes?

Am I the only one?

I feel like I smell like potatoes...like the way potato chips/crisps would smell if they weren't fried in oil or salted. It's faint, dry & mealy sort of smell. I smell it when I pee, but I can also smell it on my hands, in my sweat, etc.

I know its not yeast or a bacterial infection. Dh can't smell it.

I think it's reeeeeaaaalllly strong though, I worry other people can smell it. No idea what it's about though!

Yeah it smells strong to me too. But it must be faint because no one else admits to being able to smell it. I just asked my daughter and she cant' smell it either--she usually has a very good sense of smell.

think when ur pregnant u can smell EVERYTHING a million times worse then anyone else i can smell everything lol

its mainly your CUM im afraid girlies. i have also had this problem and i clean everyday and when me and my partner recently had sex, he could smell it on his hand :/ (i could smell it before, but it wasnt untill he 'touched' the potato smell that he realised.) sorry for the grossness. its a part of pregnancy!!! it dies down. dont worry. i am 41 weeks and i have on and off days. i also noticed at the beginning of my pregnancy, my mouth tasted like pennies! (seriously, it tasted as if i had been sucking pennies) i am very hygienic so it used to upset me. your partners can probably smell it occassionally but its no biggie. they ALL understand pregnancy takes over our bodies. all we can do is clean and pray that our partners are understanding, and if they arent, then they aint worth being with us! i hope this helps!!!

I had the penny taste early on too--just awful.

This isn't feminine odor for me though. I can shower and smell my hands right after and they still smell like potatoes. My bra smells like potatoes by the end of the day even. It's like my whole body is secreting potato smell.

Maybe its my vitamins or something.

lol potatoes? the day after my c-section my pee started smelling like cheerios. still does but it is faint now... weeeeird!
