this month we are SMEPing. (sperm meets egg plan)

today my opk had a smiley face and so now we've got to BD for the next 3 days in a row!! hope my vagina survives!

Tell me more about this plan!!! Does it mean just BD a lot?! If so, that's what DH and I are doing. It's my first cycle post MC so I really do not know when I'll ovulate or if my cycle will return to normal. Plus, I think I ovulated earlier than 'normal' (I have a 28 day cycle usually) with my pregnancy because baby measured 4 days ahead of LMP dates. So, I'm on CD8 and DH and I are just going to go everyday til I get positive OPKs/temp rise.

This is basically what we did last time (I wasn't tracking anything, we got lucky, we BD for a week straight during my estimated fertile window from my period tracker app) and we got a BFP. Hoping it's lucky for us again!!

Ohhh iv just done smep this cycle! Positive opk weds so bd weds Thurs and yesterday now on my rest day lol. Let's hope it works for us!!!

smep is very specific. start BDing every other day starting on cd8, start opks on cd10, when the opk is positive you bd that night, the next two nights, skip one day and then one more time!

idk if its gonna work but its giving me something to focus on.

We are doing smep this cycle! We got our positive opk yesterday but ended up not BD (arg!) so will BD tonight (Wednesday) Friday and Saturday. Then skip a day and one last time Monday. I had OV pains yesterday afternoon and ewcm today so I'm hopeful

So we mostly followed SMEP this cycle, with a few tweaks. We BD'd every other day and sometimes every day leading up to O. I got two days of positive OPKs so we BD on those days but not after. I confirmed ovulation on the second day of the positive OPK so didn't really see a reason to continue to BD after. Fingers crossed it worked for us this cycle!
